Stop Asking For Reviews!

The app itself is great but y’all ask for a review after every. single. log. Why?? I already reviewed and now I’m dropping it down.
Great

It’s a 5 star app but I removed a star because it keeps asking me to leave a review every single time I use the app. The part is very annoying.

Simple and easy to use. Great to visually see food intake.
Mindful Eating <3

My goal was mindful eating rather than calorie counting and this app is perfect. I love that you can customize it so much - picking fun photos from Pinterest for the foods and drinks you’re logging, making your own tags for the foods, and YOU decide if something is “healthy”, “neutral” or “unhealthy”. I am someone who is susceptible to EDs and have to be very careful - this app has simply helped me decide “is eating that worth logging in the app?” and I am able to evaluate and see real numbers of what I am putting in my body. LOVE this app.
Not many options

First, lifetime subscription has increased from $5 to $9.99. Not much but should be included in the description.
Second, and far more importantly, this does not have multiple foods I commonly eat. The first two searches I made were “greek salad” which came up empty and “oven” with the goal of tracking oven fried chicken. This also came up blank, so unless you want to hunt down and manually enter nutrition data for each meal, I would recommend looking for a different app.
Third, app is built to a phone screen layout, so does not fill the screen on my iPad. This is not a critical flaw, but is definitely a minor annoyance, and should be fixable in a sprint or three by the ent for easily tracking meals. dev team.
Altogether, not a bad app, but not what I was looking for, and not super conven
Love it!

Really helping me think about what I’m eating in a non-shaming way.
Unusable in Free mode

The first time I opened the app it prompted me to me to review it. I hadn’t even used it yet. I declined the immediate call to activate a free, premium trial. After that I was shown full page, 30 second ads about every minute. This made it nearly impossible to explore the app. Next, I checked on the terms of the free trial and premium since it was clear the app is unusable in free mode. $9 a WEEK! That’s $36 a month! That is more expensive than ChatGPT, YouTube Premium, even Microsoft Office is less expensive. So, I give it two stars since it is an app and it does run. I’m not sure how anyone can find value here though. I deleted it within ten minutes of opening it.
Ads for games on free version

I deleted this app almost immediately. After I put in one food it went to an ad! I understand ads are needed to make this developer money, but pop up ads are not the way to go. Also the free version doesn’t even track your progress. This app is a waste of space and time.
8.99 a Week?!? $467 a year

I read the reviews and saw one that said the app was $8.99 a week. I thought the person must have been mistaken (maybe $8.99 a month?) and downloaded it anyway. Yep, $8.99 a week which is $467 a year. I can get Noom or Weight Watchers with way more features for about a third of that. I deleted the app almost immediately.
Not $5

The app description before download says $5.00. But in app it’s 8.99 PER WEEK. That is expensive for a simple app like this one. They don’t even offer a money-saving annual option. You have to get the premium to make it worth your while for 2 reasons: premium has the ‘Track your progress’ option that always needs to be available for ppl to look at their data, and ads. An ad popped up on me 30s into opening the app for the first time. Shop around, this isn’t a great deal.
