I am disappointed in this app. I downloaded and tried the test version. I liked the commentary so I purchased the app. It does not work /automatically play at all. I cannot drive and then tap the little dots to hear the commentary while driving. Trouble shooting instructions did not work. Now I cannot figure out how to get a refund. Very frustrated. I used another company who’s app worked beautifully.

This app is good at telling you where you are. But it would be nice to have specific designated tours to be taken. You’re on your own with that.

We already had the guidebook -- Maui Revealed, The Ultimate Guidebook -- so we didn't know how beneficial the driving guide would be. Answer: very beneficial. As we drove around Maui, the author gave a narrative of places where we were. Some of the narratives were just like the book's text, but hearing it while driving was much better than trying to read it and being unable to see what we were driving past. Many of the narratives were punctuated with descriptions and stories that are not in the guidebook. And driving tips were nice, too. For example, as we approached a highway intersection, the author would tell us which way to go -- For example, go straight to go to Kahului and turn right to go to Haleakala. This app is well worth the price.

Purchased this prior to flight. Keeps trying to make me purchase again everytime I try to use it. I have rebooted and followed all recommendations. Huge disappointment.

We totally enjoyed listening to the information. Made all of our trip so enjoyable.

Wealth of info provided, while driving.

We have used the Hawaii revealed books for years on several islands. After several years of being away, we returned to visit Maui last week and decided to try the app. We learned so much and literally drove every inch of the island listening and stopping where we wanted. I felt like Andy was our personal tour guide and good friend :) Can’t recommend it enough. Will definitely download again on visits to other islands in the future. He even had it updated to discuss the tragedy of the fire in Lahaina.

We really enjoyed the commentary. Buy it before you leave instead of just for the road to Hana. It would have been great for the entire trip!

I bought the book to research for the trip and used the app while we drove around the island. We definitely saw more and discovered things I wouldn’t have remembered from just reading the book because of Andy’s helpful comments along the way. We would have missed out on the cool lava tube on the road to Hana if we didn’t have the app!! It was my daughter’s favorite stop! We were excited to see what we would learn from Andy everyday. Thank you!!
