Can’t change time limit via the app, not intuitive
  • Too complicated! Not like Apple.

It doesn’t work right half the time. My son is always asking for more time when he should have the time.

Doesn’t actually report time being used. It’s hard to keep track of total screen time when it doesn’t track it at all. It has had other issues over the last few months but this is the worst one currently

Useless app. Screen time no longer shuts off when tim is up and pause function is no longer available.

Doesn’t show the correct remaining time. Notifications shot time requests don’t show up sometimes.

This app isn’t working at all. I keep sending an invitation and it says it’s already expired every time I send a new one.
  • No time tracking

The feature I most looked forward to was time tracking and limit setting. But you can’t set time limits if it doesn’t track any time to begin with. There’s a tooltip about delayed reporting but I have no data and usage. Nintendo has this figured out with their app so it’s surprising Microsoft dropped the ball on this.
  • Does Not Do Anything

This app would be great if it did anything that it was supposed to do. It does not accurately track time, and it does not prevent family members from playing as much as they want. On occasion it will cut them off at the time of day you set, but even that isn’t consistent.

What happen with this update?! That now I can't add time through the app!!! What's the point of the app if I can't add time.

Really bad user interface and app quality. Frequently does not recognize time played on Xbox in a timely manner. Will say there is 5 minutes of screen time left on Xbox but not show any time used on the family app.
