Great simple app. Obviously it’s not as detailed as other apps but there aren’t IAP, so I’m very happy with it.
  • The prettiest face of all the food apps, but the programming is a nightmare

I stuck with this app for a week, even paid for the pro version because I'm more likely to use something daily if it's pretty. I love the colors and was willing to overlook the many programming issues and add my own foods and tricks to get around the programming flaws but after the second time of my full food log being deleted it became style over substance and a frustrating waste of time. A few issues with the programming, ***** Twice my food log for that day was deleted completely before the day was over. Each time I open the app it automatically opens to Monday regardless of the day so I have to make sure every time I open the app I log food on the right day. It's irritating because you shouldn't have to pick out the current day every time. The macro percentages are confusing as they don't add up to 100%. You can only log food as an ounce not per tablespoon or piece. I had to look up the ounces of one egg because that was the only way it would allow me to save it. It's strange, but when you add a food in ounces and go to log it, even if it was a food you created in different ounces, it automatically puts in the portion of 3.57 ounces, so I have to change the ounces every time even for foods I created. When you log water, the ounces add up incorrectly. ****** I'm disappointed as this app really stuck out from the others because of how pretty and simple it is to use but I spent more time re logging food and trying to work around the programming to get the log to show what I wanted it to.

love the app, been using it consistently for a week. So simple and pretty. my only complaint is that it seems to not be in my time zone because it doesn't say ours the right day until later in the day?? So I can't plan my meals in the morning. or log my breakfast if it's too early.

Very displeased with this app. I was initially attracted to the simplicity of the app so I paid for the PRO version. It is not worth it. When I add my water intake the amount shown as consumed has not ever been correct since I began using it…. And when I add my weight with a decimal point… the numbers following the decimal are never the numbers I input…. There is also the very limited food category to contend with. So I give it a 1 on the scale … this may seem harsh but it either works or it doesn’t and this app doesn’t work correctly…

In the US we use lbs, ounces, and grams on our labels. So our labels start out with how many calories are in a serving and in the serving is a breakdown in macros using grams ( like 10g of protein or 8g of fat. When adding new foods to save on my apps it asks for how many calories in ounces which is great but on the macros it also ask in them also in ounces which is the problem because all of our packaging has the macros labeled in grams. So there for I have to do the math every time I need to add something into it.

March 2023: I think some of the negative reviews are targeted and purposefully misrepresent the features of this app. Given the privacy invading scope of data-collecting and selling by the biggest name app (do they really need to track me financially and other undefined “sensitive data”?), I decided to ditch it and look for something else. I am delighted to have found this app. It integrates with Apple Health, has convenient reminders, and even a little game with which you can distract yourself, if you’re feeling the urge to snack. After one day of use, I realize that the free version has everything I personally need, but I paid for the Pro version anyway, as a thank you to the developer. You can put in your stats and goals, search for foods, create your own foods, create and save the ingredients of recipes or regular meals (“mix ingredients”), edit them, define your desired macros and track them, select from a wide array of exercises and enter them, and if you pay the small one-time fee for Pro, you can also track water and add additional details to food (beyond fat, carbohydrates and protein). There are five tracked statistics in all: calories, exercise, macros, weight and water. Also, when you search for something you get one result, instead of potentially dozens that you waste your time picking through, then report for inaccuracies, and edit anyway. No, this does not have a convenient barcode scanner, but I’m willing to make that trade off for my privacy.

not a good app. you can’t trust the auto log for foods as simple as eggs. there are very limited pre logged items.
  • Needs to fix units

This needs improvement. It makes you select grams or ounces for everything throughout the program. My weight needs to be in pounds, but entering a new food, all the labels information is in grams. We need to be able to toggle units.

Purchased the app. it looked easy at the start, but turned into a PITA. Can’t enter then save your own foods. You can enter but there’s nowhere you can save it. It just disappears. Not even logged into a day. Just a waste of time. Why bother! Asking for a refund.
