    I whole heartedly believe this app is why I passed both my National tests first try, on both! The new Level Up function is crazy awesome. I wish there was a way to make comments about questions when they get flagged, because there are different reasons to flag a question, but that’s ok. Great study tool!!

    I used this to study for my simultaneous FF 1/2 and EMT-B programs and I can’t say enough positive things about it! I loved the ability to switch between Fire and EMT review right in the same app. The interface is very intuitive. The questions and practice exams were reflective of material on NREMT exam and both FF written exams. LOVED being able to nerd out and look at the break down of subjects and the progressive study by subjects where the material starts easy and becomes more complex and you work through the category. We used this in our study group as well - would hook up my laptop to the TV at the station and use it as discussion review as a group. Explaining the case as to why you landed on the answer to others (and the occasional healthy disagreement) was really helpful for me and then the “explain the answer” option did an awesome job setting any debates. In the week leading up to the exams I ran through practice tests and any answers I got wrong I would write out the answer and explanation by hand and that really helped. But no means is the app a magic bullet to passing but when used as a tool with class and to get you thinking and talking with others about the material it was a huge help! There’s no shortcut to putting in the time and work - this definitely helped make great use of the time. I’m happy to share I went into FF 1/2 and NREMT exams feeling confident and passed all three of them in the first go! If you’re on the fence or curious if it’s worthwhile - my experience with it can be summed up as, “ABSOLUTELY!”

    After completing the EMT-B program I downloaded this app. During my free time I would take 10 questions per quiz. After 3 weeks I took my NREMT and passed! Pocket Prep was an awesome tool that really helped!

    I had been using this app for well over 3 months before I took my NREMT. Passed on my first try. This app is an excellent way to keep your knowledge up when it comes to test day. I really liked the level up feature, and also took the 3 mock exams, which really helped me in the long run. If you’re hesitant on purchasing the premium version, do it! It helped me, and I’m sure it could help you as well.

    Pocket prep has been the most challenging and accurate study tool I’ve ever used. The app uses pertinent questions that are made from the source material and provide exactly where to find the information in the book so you can study the material further. I’ve used pocket prep for my NREMT EMT and Paramedic Exams as well as my Firefighter 1 and firefighter 2 exams and I passed all of them on the first try. I would recommend this app to anybody who needs to prep for any exam with 100% confidence. The convenience of being able to study on the go and being asked challenging questions ensures that you’re not wasting your time while studying. I’ve used other apps to study such as medic tests but this app is 100% better.

    I canceled my subscription. Nearly $50 total to get the app and monthly subscription just to keep getting questions that I am answering correct show up as incorrect. The app is literally changing my answer after I submit the correct answer. Fix that, or make the price for the app free and just charge for the subscription. Absolutely ridiculous. On to the next!

    I found this app to be better than the other EMT pocket prep. I used it every day after my class and passed the NREMT first try in 72 questions. Cannot recommend enough!
