Description

Recently added: Upcoming precipitation widgets, sky background, a new WatchOS 11 app with Smart Stack widgets, native mac app, rain & snow alerts and vertical (in a "Dark Sky" app style) layout option. Weathergraph is a beautiful visual hourly weather widget and forecast for Watch, iPhone, iPad, and Mac, with the Apple Watch app, watchface complications and weather alerts. Powered by Apple Weather, Foreca, Pirate Weather (aggregating NOAA's HRRR, GFS and GEFS), Open-Meteo, and yr.no/met.no. It shows: - Nowcast (real-time rain & snow forecast updated every 30 minutes – PRO only) - Rain & snow alerts based on nowcast data (PRO) - Hour-by-hour temperature (main colorful line) - Hour-by-hour precipitation — rain, and snow (blue chart) - Hour-by-hour cloudiness (cloud cover) and sunshine (clouds on top + sun rays) - Hour-by-hour wind speed (red line) and direction (red arrows) - Hour-by-hour precipitation or dew point (dotted line) - Hour-by-hour atmospheric pressure, absolute, or rate of change (purple line or arrows) - Hour-by-hour UV index (rainbow dashes) - Real day/night (sky color) - Daily temperature minimum and maximum (overlaid above chart) - Actual temperature and place (on the top) - Sunrise and sunset times Hikers, runners, bikers, kite surfers, pilots, and many outdoor enthusiasts around the world love the at-glance readability, customizability, and reliability. Weathergraph is offline capable. The app caches the last acquired forecast for up to 24 hours, allowing you to hike or run outside the network (or go running or biking with a wifi-only Apple Watch) and still see the most recently fetched data. The data refreshes automatically once a connection is available. The hourly forecast is updated every hour, nowcast and rain alerts update every 30 minutes. If rain or snow is expected during the next 3 hours, you will get a notice on a widget (iPhone, iPad & Mac), a large complication (Watch), and a detailed 3-hour precipitation chart in the app. Nowcast and alerts are powered by Foreca and depend on the precision of rain radars in your area. Weathegraph cares about your privacy. No ads, no tracking, and no sharing of locations with third parties. This is how I want all the apps on my phone & watch to behave. You can unlock professional Apple Weather, Foreca, Open-Meteo, and Dark Sky forecast sources, weather alerts, nowcast, and all styles and options via a reasonably priced subscription, which covers the cost of data and allows me to further improve Weathergraph. One-time Weathergraph Forever unlock is also available. Thank you for your support! If you liked Dark Sky, Weather Line, Weathertron, or Weather Strip, then Weathergraph might be the best replacement :). Privacy policy and terms of use: https://weathergraph.app/privacy Please note: Subscriptions made on Apple devices will be charged to your credit card through your iTunes account. Your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You will not be able to cancel once activated. Manage or turn off your subscriptions in App Store app > Account > Subscriptions.

I’ve talked with the developer countless times since the app was first released and he just does not get the idea that people want to know what the weather is NOW. Every time I look at a stack of widgets each app will update as I scroll through the stack, even if it’s only been 15 minutes. BUT NOT THIS ONE. For this one to update more than every three or four hours, requires that you fully open the app and refresh it. That’s fine if you want to know when it rained last. BUT NOT FOR WHEN ITS GOING TO RAIN NEXT. Don’t settle for bad customer service and save your money.

Can you please list somewhere the exact date for the launch of multi location support? I have had this app on my radar. Tried the free trial. It looked promising. But it’s useless to me without multi location. It’s now close to two years you have said “it’s coming soon!”. And not just that, I have to read through reviews and release notes to check if it’s there yet because the app has a paywall with no way to try it anymore and no clear indication if multi location is still happening, almost there, or done. In retrospect I feel I made the right decision to not subscribe before a feature was done and saved my money. Happy to pay and support your work, but you have to deliver.

This is one of the best weather app for predicting weather, the only improvement I would like to see is a better map of current weather.
  • Beautiful and data rich

Only wish is that the widgets could refresh on their own. Mine frequently just say “forecast too old” but my other weather widgets seem fine. Not sure why that is. Update 4/10: since I wrote this and received a response I have not noticed this issue recurring for me.

The app is beautiful and I paid for life but having the wrong city shown keeps me from recommended to my neighbors. Fix it and I will marketer it to them for you. Is there any chance you can use the source TWC uses even for premium? Please fix glen city to Pell city 35128 zip
  • Still no saved location support

My preferred weather app thanks to the line chart style. Saved location support has been promised for over a year now though with no visible movement. I want to be able to turn locations permissions off, regardless of the developer's promises about privacy, and will be looking for alternatives next round.

I love this app. I have cancelled all other weather app subscriptions in favor of this one. I show it to others and it blows their minds how much information is contained in just a glance. I think you will love it too.

I love to see the weather in a concise view and this app does an amazing amazing job of it. One of my favorite somewhat new features is the “current” background, where it matches the actual weather and current sky. The app is great if you’re a weather junkie or if you just like to see a visual representation in a single chart. No need for lots of scrolling. And, it’s created by an actual human who is interested in feedback and works to address bugs that arise.
