This app provides customized programs and workouts to push you to your limits, helping you achieve your fitness goals and get in the best shape of your life. Alive was planned and designed to be as simple as possible and easy to use. Focusing specifically on the workout experience so you have confidence during your workouts. We are excited to continue improving and evolving the app with our Alive community in the process. Features Programs Alive includes 20 different programs to choose from based on your personal goals. When you join a program you are guided through a full schedule of workouts that span over several weeks. This takes any guesswork out and keeps you focused on your goals. Challenges Alive strongly believes your mental health is just as important as your physical health and has designed 30-day challenges where those intersect. Each challenge contains daily tasks, mindful mobility, workouts, and journal prompts. These challenges will help you push your limits and uncover new habits to live a healthier day-to-day life. Daily Workouts Alive includes over 100 daily workouts that are split up into different categories (HiiT, Abs, Pull, etc) so you can decide what type of workout you want to do. Journey The path to a fit, healthy life is a journey, not an overnight process. The journey allows you to keep track of your progress by weight, photos, and a timeline of progress. Alive also has the capability of syncing your active minutes and weight data with Apple Health. Consistency is key so as you continually hit your goals the app will reward you with achievements along the way! Subscriptions / Alive Premium Alive is free to download and offers two Premium subscription options, Monthly and Annual. Both options include a 7-day trial. Alive Premium provides full access to the app including all programs and daily workouts. Subscriptions will be charged to your credit card through your iTunes account. Your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You may manage your subscriptions and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your Account Settings after the purchase. After purchase, refunds will not be provided for any unused portion of the term.   • Charged me but told me I needed to upgrade

    The app has done this to me twice now. I paid the monthly rate and a week later it told me I needed to restore my purchase even though I have proof it went through already. I sent them a screenshot of the charge so hopefully they can fix it but I’m sad it won’t be fixed by the morning. I also don’t like that there are no form tips. What am I paying for at this point?? It’s overpriced because it’s Whitney.

    Okay so love this app and love Whitney. However, I’m kinda liking the ladder app more but for only two-ish reasons. The ladder app has voiceover in your ear and id love alive more if it had that too. And one other thing, I can’t find a way to log the weight I lift while also exercising! But other than that I love Whitney

    I’ve looked at so many apps and online programs and influencers, but this is by far my favorite one. It’s such a simple and user friendly format. The workouts are amazing. Nothing crazy or intimidating IMO. I am not new to working out or weights, but I still started with Alive Beginner and it’s still a great challenge. The FB group really helps keep me motivated and engaged. I feel encouraged to stick with it. I’m excited to see what I can accomplish!

    I LOVED this app when I first got it. But I started to notice the MAJOR glitching happening between app and the watch app. I love that it works with the watch but half the time it isn’t tracking my heart rate and half the time it’s glitching. None of my workouts have been accurate. I’m trying to give it the benefit of the doubt and continue using it in hopes it improves but right now I am going crazy cause I’m very big on tracking my progress which should be included by the way in the app. I just really wanted to love this app I may switch back to OwnU

    I do wish there was a way to have a little bit more of a detailed description of the workouts or tips and tricks to how to do the workout better or what you should be feeling rather than just the short clip video, although it is very helpful.

    I have tried several apps for working out, and truly nothing beats the interface and features of Alive. You can absolutely tell that Whitney Simmons poured all of her hard work and her heart into this app to create something that is incredibly easy to use and for all types of people who go to the gym. I have been following Whitney Simmons since I was 17 years old and started going to the gym because of her and her tutorials on YouTube along with Instagram. When she came out with the app, I tried a seven day free trial and I really liked the interface, however the features along with quantity of programs available weren’t enough for me at the time. Years later I decided to take advantage of the 50% discount for a year, and I have never seen such an amazing app as this one. I love that she continues to update the app and takes feedback of her customers to create an even better app. There are so many programs to choose from beginner to advanced levels. Some focus on progressive weightlifting and muscle gains while others are meant to make you feel more comfortable in the environment and learn how to lift. I can adjust the days of working out to configure a schedule that I would like it set up and I could also adjust the actual exercise order. All exercises offer alternatives so in the case you can only use free weights or other machines an equal alternative .Some programs offer a choice of 3/4/5 day structure and a variety of skill levels,I love this newer update and wish ALL programs offered it as more 3 day workout programs are needed. The mini tutorial that comes with the app is awesome I do wish all exercises however had the ability to swipe for a comprehensive talk through video of appropriate form however can understand this maybe too extensive. It would definitely be an AMAZING feature to have as quick video format sometimes I not enough especially for beginners. I’m also able to put in how many reps or the weight that you lifted for exercises keeping track of what I last did so that I can always improve on it. I also love the fact that there is isolated workouts for a person to do in the case they don’t want to follow a program or want to add in an extra workout or two on top of the structured program that they’re already following. This app is incredibly inclusive and has different trainers with different backgrounds, including one whose focus is primarily on weight loss and pregnancy along with postpartum and being able to stay active during those times of life. There is a section for journaling really focusing on the mental health aspect of working out which is something that is really important to me along with the creator of this app Whitney Simmons. I also like that you can track your progress and connect to your Health app. Overall, amazing worth the price for all the amazing features and large range of programs available! This app is always adding more programs so it’ll be hard to ever be caught up but in such case repeating them is no problem. A few things i would love is more 3 days programs whether it’s simply added to all the current programs but can choose a 3 day version or an option for further programs. And lastly having a comprehensive video that’s about 30-60s explaining how to do the exercise. Other than that there’s really nothing that can be improved because it’s that good.
  • Great App but sudden bugs

    Loved the app for the last month! However, I started noticing issues and bugs such as: my music pausing every time i entered the app, the timer working when i exit the app, the pause/play button when I click into the video. Hope these issues can get resolved soon since I do love this app.

    Hands down the best fitness app I’ve used. The interface feels so simple but does everything you need. It’s also aesthetically pleasing which is a huge plus! I can switch between different types of workouts whenever I want - HIIT, mat exercises, weight lifting, etc. It’s really helped me stay consistent wherever I’m working out - whether that’s the gym or at home or traveling. I can go on and on. Love it. Thank you Alive team!!!
