Needs a better update horrible using it with Mac

There's way too many bugs in the UI, especially related with video calls. WIth the newer update, you can't access the chat while video calling and they got rid of the mini video display. Also, when using the video call on the messenger mobile app, when I take off one of my headphone muffs off my ear, Messenger automatically "detects" that I took my headphone off and plays sound on my speaker even though I didn't ask it to and there's no feature to disable this behaviour. How did the Messenger app on my phone and my laptop get even WORSE than the previous version?

1. The floating call window feature is no longer available on Messenger for MacBook. Also the call experience became too bad. 2. You can’t hear any media (audio or video) while on a Messenger call. 3. Without the floating call window, multitasking during calls has become significantly worse. 4. When screen sharing during a call on MacBook, any video you play shares visuals only. There’s no sound transmitted.

I’m not summarily opposed to the use of AI in some contexts, but I have zero interest in using it on Facebook and for other social media and wish Meta would stop trying to force it on me. At least give me a way to entirely shut it off. I DO NOT WANT IT.

Looks like the dev team finally is getting their act together and harmonizing the Mac app and the iOS app. The recent update is outstanding! Hoping they can keep up the good work :)
