Description

Trinagon is a unique 3D puzzle and mind game. The principle is simple: Depending on the game board, various patterns of triangles need to be created through exchanges (rotations). Colored triangles are symmetrically arranged in a starting pattern over various planar or three-dimensional structures (polygons and polyhedra). The task is to move the triangles into the desired pattern through exchanges/rotations. The goal is to reach the solution pattern in principle first and then to search for the fewest exchanges to create the desired pattern. The best or even perfect solutions (see God's number) will enter a new global independent 'Hall of Fame'. The game seems simple but offers hundreds of unique and complex challenges. After completing the first series of simple introductory puzzles, you will find yourself not only faced with the question of "whether" but, more importantly, "how" to solve increasingly complex puzzles. These seemingly harmless puzzles may hold surprises, as each game board and each puzzle brings its own challenges! As the levels increase, the complexity deepens, testing the limits of your analytical thinking; even the most experienced puzzle enthusiasts will be challenged. Even after months or years of playing, you can continue to improve your solutions. What you once thought was impossible suddenly becomes obvious! Amazingly elegant solutions that once seemed impossible become logical and obvious over time (and practice). There are already over 500 puzzles waiting to be solved, and new ones are added regularly. The symmetries in the game vary depending on the symmetry of the structure and the configuration of each puzzle. Therefore, your solution strategy must be adjusted for each puzzle, especially after the first 50 simple ones. It won't be easy, but it will be fun! So far, no one has solved all the puzzles (*), except, of course, the creator. There are simply too many puzzles, and solving them takes time, even for the most creative minds. The game mechanics are designed for smooth and efficient gameplay and can be customized to suit your preferences. A short tutorial will teach you the basics, and the rest of the game can be explored at your own pace, supported by explanations in the menu. A comprehensive manual and many details can also be found on the game's website.
