    Like why is this even an option??? Customers in my area don’t even tip us dashers which means no money…. I once made a delivery that was 25 minutes away for a lousy $6 tip, it’s ridiculous I refuse to deliver for just tips.

  • Good way to make extra money, poor app design, bad dasher support

    I’ve used DoorDash and UberEats for extra income off and on over several years. I much prefer delivering for UberEats as their app and delivery driver support is much much better. Door dash is more popular from a business perspective so I have to use Dasher a bit more but I find the app is slow at times, buggy, and takes double the amount of clicks than UberDriver to pick up and deliver food. I’ve also had multiple issues with DoorDash orders being double ordered so other dashers pick up the food before I get there. Then speaking with Dasher support is not a thing. So I have to just cancel the order. I’ve also had payout issues where my payout reports and deposits different amounts than what my weekly earnings report. I try to talk to dasher support but never got on the phone with a person, just annoying AI support that railroads you to help info on completely irrelevant help info. Super annoying. If I didn’t have to use DoorDash, I would only use UberDriver to deliver food and make extra cash.

    I have been a dasher for about a year now and have a near perfect acceptance rating. The other night as I’m dashing, I drop off an order and the app freezes. I completed delivery steps, took the photo, and the app is just frozen so I can’t click complete delivery. This was not a neighborhood that I felt safe in so I drove away to a safer area (~5 mins away). There, I waited for dasher support to assist me through the app, which understandably can take a few minutes, and they manually completed the order for me. I continued on with more dashing. Later that night, as I’m looking over my earnings, I see I have gotten a contract violation for an order that is “extremely late.” For the order that I delivered when the app crashed. I am allowed to send one message explaining what happened, and two days later I am notified that my dispute was rejected and I still have the violation on my account. I call customer service and they say the decision is final. This makes zero sense. There is proof that I spoke to a support rep that night at that time. And I can’t get any further help at all? Terrible customer service as an employee.

    I feel that if a dasher delivers in a snowstorm then there should be some sort of tip. I went on a delivery from an auto parts place in Caribou to a garage in Van Buren in a storm and only got $4. No tip included. Also have issues with the app going on pause for no reason.

    I have downloaded this app several times and each and every time it was hacked dasher support sucked to say the least claimed there is nothing wrong no I cannot even change my personal information to what it should be. Dasher support keeps asking for additional personal info. For verification such as wanting me to scan my drivers license I do not trust dasher support as far as I can throw them have been trying to get this information changed for months as of todays date the information remains the same. I would not recommend this app to anyone I give this app 0 stars

    Don’t use this app unless you want to get scammed out of your food or any kind of products you buy. My fiancé just ordered off this app and he ordered from it the other day the other day he ordered a case of water and two lemonades and they brought it to him but they also gave him alcohol and let me inform you me and him are only 19 not the legal age to drink, DoorDash didn’t care that one of there dashers delivered minors alcohol. And today, He ordered two sandwiches and two milkshakes for me and him both from Wawas the dash brings the food and we saw the milkshake in the cup holder of the dudes car and the dude said “here you go” started to pull off my fiancé confronted him and “said what about our milkshakes” dude said “oh these are mine” my fiancé “I paid for two milkshake and those are it, it has my name on the side of the cup” dude kept saying there his and DoorDash said there is nothing they can do about it bc the dasher told DoorDash that it was delivered. So pls if you don’t want to get scammed out of your stuff you pay for with your own money don’t use this app. If I could leave negative stars I would.
