I love this app! As a gardener, it helps me identify what plants are out in the world to incorporate into my yard! It’s great to see other people’s snapshots and being able to see snaps around them makes things easy to build friendships nearby. All in all I would definitely recommend to any plant enthusiasts or even anyone who might just want to know what plants they are looking for!

I was looking for an app to identify my plants. I tried and it was great. I was able to identify all the different plants in my garden and in the house. Like different rose and orchids. And it was able to identify the wild one in the parks. All in all it was fast and actual.

Other plant apps I have used did not meet my needs. I am able to easily find what I need and navigate through the app without any confusion. I scanned in my plants and it detected what the plant is accurately. I really like scrolling through the community section, I'm able to see plants I’ve never even heard of before and it labels the plant in the photo so I can click and learn more about the plant. If you’re a plant lover, this is a great way to learn more about any plant you can think of! It shows you a fun fact about each plant, its location, and the size range of each plant. You can pay for more information on each plant, but for the free version it covers what I need and I can interact in the plant community.
  • Comprehensive Plant Care and Educational App: A Gardener's Delight!

•I find it rather inconvenient that logging in is mandatory to access all features of the app. It would be more user-friendly if logging in were optional, allowing users to explore the app without any barriers. •One of the standout features of the app is its comprehensive plant care advice and detailed plant information. I particularly appreciate how it not only identifies plants but also guides users on how to nurture them effectively. •A valuable addition to the app would be an educational section explaining botanical terms like kingdom, subkingdom, and division. This would be immensely beneficial for beginners in gardening, helping them understand the scientific classifications of plants. •Another feature I like is the ability for users to contribute by adding plant types. It's useful that clicking on these types provides additional information in a popup, enhancing the learning experience. •The subscription fee is remarkably affordable, making it accessible to everyone. It's priced just right for everyday users and offers good value for the features it provides. •It would be beneficial to include a feature that teaches users how to pronounce plant names correctly. This would enhance the educational aspect of the app and improve user engagement. •The inclusion of a fun fact feature is a delightful touch. It not only makes learning about plants enjoyable but also adds an element of interest for users of all levels of gardening experience. •I'm pleased to see that the app doesn't overlook mushrooms, which are often excluded from similar apps despite being part of the plant kingdom. This inclusivity enhances the app's utility and educational value. •Overall, I'm excited about using this app more to delve deeper into gardening. I believe it has the potential to inspire many others to explore the world of plants and gardening, making it a valuable tool for both beginners and enthusiasts alike.

I dumped this app a few years ago. Thought I’d download it and try it again. It simply couldn’t properly identify plants in my yard. Deleted it again. Waste of memory.
  • Do Not Purchase

Worst app around - DO NOT purchase. All this app does is tell you what the plants are. It gives you very very little information on what to do to help make them grow.

As someone who lives up against Griffith park and the botanical gardens, I wanted to give this app a try in my backyard and when I go on my weekend adventures. This app is very easy to navigate and extremely accurate. Some apps can be confusing but I already sent this to my elderly mother and plant enthusiast and she has no problem using it right away. I’ve tried different plant apps before but this is by far the best in the business
