Description

The iopool application allows pool owners to manage their water treatment themselves. The EcO probe analyzes the water continuously and the application displays the results of the analyses. When an addition of products is necessary, the user is notified. The application explains step by step the steps to follow for optimal efficiency and safety. Thanks to iopool's intelligent recommendation engine and its application, users no longer need to worry about managing inventory and quantity of maintenance products. These products have been selected by iopool for their efficiency, in partnership with a university research center. The iopool application is the best companion for users of a private pool. The application makes it possible to know at any time the state of health of the pool, forgetting the chore of weekly strips.

    So far we are loving it, wish it had a little more information in the boxing and wish they cross referenced other chemical brands. Other than that it’s been working good for us.

    Stop sending me advertisements in the iOS notifications. Provide the user the option to get updates about their tub free from these irritating advertisements.

  • Eco disconnected from gateway

    Once eco sensor acquired by someone’s account it can’t be transferred to another. Eco sensor disconnected on its own from gateway being 5 feet away apart. Gateway only connects using Wi-Fi though has PoE power. Way to improve the product. No phone customer support

    The whole point of getting a device and an app to monitor your spa is to notify you when there’s a problem so you can take action. This app does not do that. While the monitoring the app does do is great, do the developers think I’m going to look at the app every day to see how things are going? Hardly. Pool monitors need to be set and forget, until there’s an issue, then notify the owner. Please build in notification of some type in to the app so that when I pick up my phone I can tell at a glance there’s an issue from an incoming notification so that I can then take action.

    I also agree that it was nice to inventory a limited amount of other brands, etc.; HOWEVER, I DO love having the IO! The app took getting used to, as far as the “sanitation” part (I like readings of Chlorine…), but this is saving A LOT of money in chemical supplies, just like the pHin. The set-up was MUCH easier than our pHin, that’s for sure! And connecting via our phone is fantastic, in my opinion. I DO work away from home two days/week, so we’ll be investing in the bridge! ❤️

  • Great Device and App, but…

    The device works as advertised and the app keeps up with the data well, but there are a couple of improvements needed to match the pHin app. The first one is to accept other brand name chemicals into inventory and use those chemicals when giving the recommendations for treatment. The other one is to be able to edit pool size and pump flow to calculate hours of filtration needed. I put in the wrong info and now it gives me the wrong amount of filtration time. Overall, very pleased. Would recommend the whole system - monitor device, bridge device and app.
