I have used Mint & NerdWallet in the past and always struggled to get used to their setup. Even felt they were doing too much. This app is simple and keeps me focused on the numbers from budgets to reccuring transactions. Really enjoying it so far. I also highly appreciate the fact I can link all my accounts. In the past apps I struggle to link certain ones due to restrictions. The integration of MX and the usual suspect to add accounts in was well received
  • Replacement for Mint but costs $

Had to find a replacement solution for Mint. Mint had more integrations which is my biggest frustration. Yodlee did well with integrations, Plaid integrations are Eeeehhh. No easy way to solicit for integration adds. I increased my review from 4 to 5 stars with the additional integration options. 5 stars for the app 5 stars for integrations 2 stars for the price. $4.99 is more reasonable. I get Netflix with. 1000’s of movies for the same price… Still giving 5 stars but believe they will grow their base with a better price. I can afford it but many may not.

It is so frustrating that creating rules for transactions doesn’t work properly. things continue going into the wrong category no matter how many times a make a freaking rule for it & even worse, when I make a rule for a transaction it NEVER successfully transfers ever transaction to that category. Right in front of my eyes all the transactions just stay in the wrong category. It’s so frustrating as i’m trying to go through my 2024 expenses for taxes. Please fix this. Also if cash transactions could be added that would be great too. It’s good other than that.
  • Lack of simple features

This app does what it says it does, but completely over complicates it and this leads to a complete blindside of lack of basic features. You can’t see your own budgets, they just pull them from your transaction history. You can’t mass edit transactions, for example my Apple Card’s cash back auto deposits into the savings account and they want me to edit each daily deposit one by one, no thanks.
  • Worth it in the End

If you’re tech savvy who wants to track your finances in the long term and have the patience to configure the app’s features accurately to your financial lifestyle, this app is your you. By the time you renew the annual subscription, the app would have saved you more than enough to cover the cost; worth it! Copilot was the first financial tracking app I downloaded when I knew it was time to track my finances digitally. Out of all the apps I looked into, Copilot provides the most accurate and in-depth data when you least expect it. Once I got my Recurring expenses and Categories setup properly according to my spending, the app is now all I use to check out my latest purchases and account balances.

  • Not worth the money

The application itself gets a 3 for being an application just like Mint, or Monarch, or any of the other financial applications that do what they do better than Copilot does. The customer service team (lead by Olivia) gets a 1. Subtracting 1 from 3 get’s the company a 2-star rating for now. When I started getting into LLMs, and AI in general, I found Copilot Money and was excited for the AI assistance and features. Having gotten into the application, I was amazed by its relative ease of use, impressed with the visual layouts, and disappointed at the complete lack of any sort of AI. I told myself I’d pay for the service for a year. That was September 2023. As of January 2025, the application hasn’t grown. The AI conversation chatbot they display on their home page (I have timestamped screenshots if interested) doesn’t exist. In all of the currently released features, none of them are user AI related. Furthermore, the features that have been released, are the same as - or not even fully developed - features that have already been refined and mastered by their competitors. In a recent conversation I had with Olivia, their Head of Customer Service, I was completely blown away at the lack of development roadmap knowledge that she had. I was pointed to a website by her team where people can vote on features, as you scroll through those features, many of them are standard features you’d expect out of a financial and budgeting application. When asked, Olivia didn’t have ETA’s or even the willingness - when I asked to take the conversation out of their chat and into email to include some of the developers or someone else that had a stronger understanding of the roadmap - to include others or find answers. Before I’m roasted for it, I work in Information Technology and I wasn’t trying to be a d!ck to her. I understand that often times developers won’t always share what’s on the REAL roadmap with sales and customer support personnel. Unfortunately, the customer service experience from Olivia and her team was lackluster and wholly disappointing. When I’m asking Olivia to - essentially - defend her application and keep me as a customer, she just passively refused. I know $14 a month isn’t a lot to company’s, she didn’t even bother to try though. For now, or until they catchup with the rest of their competitors and then outpace them on the AI promises they made, I’m going with another service.
  • Well Done

This is very well done, I mean you don’t get quality like this from an app or really much of anything now and being able to automate purchases and categorize while keeping the experience smooth. Copilot is the best budget app I have used and it’s not even close.
