  • Trusted radar app

It is low res and raw but it updates so much faster. The main thing that bugs me is that you can’t go back and advance frame by frame. It’s either still or animated.

This is my first ever review of a Radar Weather application after having very little luck with the other Radar applications in the Apple App Store. I was really pumped to try out this application after using Radarscope for a few years. I read everybody’s reviews of RadarOmega and knew this application was comparable to Radarscope. After looking over RadarOmega I liked everything I saw and seriously thought about up grading the RadarOmega Application to the Beta version for $89.99 because it met all of my needs. I decided the Alpha version was too expensive for my current needs. I inputted my Credit Card information because I knew I would get great value from the application from that price point. The application told me everything was established so I tried to use the Beta version of the application and to my surprise I was still using the basic version. So, I read up on the Beta version and everything that I paid for. But still, nothing happened. I waited until today (3/22/24 ) a week later and the payment never processed although when I first sign up it told me I was good to go and told me I was a Beta user. Finally, I decided to remove the application from my computer this evening and will go back to Radarscope until the bugs are worked out of this application. Like I said it looked like a great application but had too many bugs. I believe some of the other RadarOmega users are overhyping this application that is why I gave the developers two stars because of the bugs in this application. GREAT POTENTIAL POOR DELIVERY !

I did some research on this app and it I decided to buy it vs radar scope because the videos said it had many more features. Well it seems that they have been placed behind additional paywalls and now i regret purchasing this particular app.

Used to be awesome. Paid for the $19.99 version that allowed me to see all the different radar images and now all I get is the same radar with less features then my Apple weather app. Boo.
  • Mesoscale discussions

In the mesoscale discussions key, there is a problem with the percentages. For example, in tornado watch likely, it says 80% or 95%, when it should say 80% to 95%. While not a major issue, it would be great if it was fixed. Also, when there is a 30% chance of tropical formation for the 7 days, it shows up as orange (medium). It actually should show up as yellow (low). It would be nice if this was also fixed. Besides these issues, it is a great app, and I would highly recommend it. 5/5 stars.

Get the Alpha Subscription! As an avid weather enthusiast, I’ve used various weather apps over the years, but Radar Omega stands out as a top contender. The level of detail and accuracy in its radar imaging is unparalleled, offering real-time insights into weather patterns that are both precise and easy to understand. What impresses me most is the app’s user-friendly interface, which makes navigating through different features a breeze. Whether it’s tracking a storm or just checking the weather forecast, the experience is seamless. The app provides comprehensive weather data, including wind speeds, temperature, and precipitation, in a well-organized manner. The customization options are a great addition, allowing me to tailor the app to my specific interests and needs. This personalized experience enhances the overall functionality of the app, making it not just a tool, but a reliable companion for daily weather updates. Moreover, the alert system in Radar Omega is timely and informative, keeping me ahead of severe weather conditions. This feature, in particular, has been invaluable during storm seasons, offering peace of mind with its accurate and prompt notifications. In conclusion, Radar Omega is a must-have for anyone interested in weather tracking. It’s a comprehensive, user-friendly, and reliable app that goes above and beyond in delivering quality weather information. A solid 5-star rating from me!
