    I've worked out my whole life. And it's always been a pain to have to think about and plan out my workout every day. Not just WHAT to do, but remembering what I did last time and trying to track gains. It was also always a challenge to get in and out of the gym efficiently. SHRED changed all that. Now I literally show up to the gym, open the app, and do what it says. It keeps track of my progress, keeps me moving through my workouts with a timer, and encourages me to push myself the whole way through. I've tried just about every app out there, and this app is by far the best one. And it's a lot cheaper than a personal trainer. They also are investing in their app, making new updates often. I always look forward to the next update...because they seem to be listening to their members and making the app ever better than it already is. Not only is the app an awesome workout app, but the company is amazing as well. It's easy to ask a question or report a bug. And they answer quickly and make you feel like a person, not just a "trouble ticket". Shred team...keep up the great work. I'm a disciple for life!

    The way it engage user with workout is incredible. I never felt bored and repeatinf exercises everytime i worked out which keep the interest in using it further.

    Going to the gym and not having to worry about putting a workout together is the best! The Shred up does that, plus so much more!

    Weightlifting programs all show 20-something jacked males in the thumbnail where all of the yoga programs are pictures of women (except “Yoga Strength”). This is why woman are intimidated to lift because all the programs look like their built for men in their prime. The program it chose for me was light weights but mostly body weight. Kind of sexist algorithm or maybe it’s just the developers. So frustrating.

    They say free version, then after registration they say there is a 7 day free trial. Also if you sign up they send you emails and there is a place to unsubscribe, but when I click it nothing happens. Stay away from this app!!!
  • All good except the UI

    During exercise the UI has the largest space dedicated for some smart quotes. Use that for larger weight display or what is coming up … etc. buttons too small to insert and click on weight input during exercise. While drenched in my sweat and pumped with action. I have to really concentrate to click on things. Other than that, creative out of the box excersises that never leave you bored.

    I’ve been a paying Shred user for 2 years. The app helps my motivation and keeps me accountable. When I began I was 193lbs. My goal was to put on muscle. My Body Fat percentage has decreased, and I’m up to 208lbs of lean muscle. I most often use the guided workout programs, 90 minutes, ‘bulk’ mode. Seeing the graphics tracking my weight, the time I’ve put in month over month, and having my friends on the app too so we can cheer on each other’s progress has been great. The workouts are challenging, and the rest timer keeps me focused and prevents me from wasting time. The ability to log the amount of weight I’m pushing is another one of my favorite things so I can track my increase in strength over time. Whenever I take a Yoga or Spin class, I can log that as well. I’m a much fitter and happier version of myself using Shred. I highly recommend it.
