The stories are (mostly) well done, but the selection is incredibly limited, it’s very overpriced, and the app is a buggy disaster. It also has a super annoying animation every time you launch the app that you cannot skip- this sounds trivial until you have a child screaming at you and any delay in giving them what they want is a catastrophe. There’s no way to actually browse their catalog, because they are trying to hide how many titles they actually have. You can literally watch almost everything in their library for FREE on YouTube.

We’re a screen-light family and try to be as intentional as possible with what our kids consume. Vooks is our favorite go-to! It gets my kids excited to pull out the print book versions of the books read to them on Vooks—and anything that supports reading has my full support!

I rated it 4 because nothing is perfect and I like this app because if you’re learning how to read if you have a copy of it, you can read along with the audiobook that’s why I like this app

When I first got it, I got the free trial but then it wouldn’t let me go in and there’s like a button that said all right you’re all set and then I didn’t press it one star

The books on here are read wonderfully but after a minute it stars to get old. They don’t add new books very often and the different age brackets aren’t much different. We stopped the subscription after a few months or so due to lack of new books.

This app is GREAT I love it no I am not older then 9 I love all the books and so does my brother we both think it’s great I don’t have it any more but when I had it it was fun my brother still has this so that’s how I’m righting this right now.

Good concept but you have to pay money (by the way you can watch it on Netflix)3 stars
