2 Things. They refuse to drop a shadow on the time stamp. Every other camera has this super basic feature. You can’t see the time with a white background. The motion zone setup is ridiculous, it’s only done in full screen and they expect you to drag and move little dots near the edges/corners without opening the notifications/control panel/close the app.. don’t force full screen for this. I’ve been asking for these fixes for years. They won’t fix this, but they’ll definitely keep the advertisements updated.

UPDATE, Jan. ‘25: I use the cameras for home security. When I need to respond to a camera alert, having an ad pop up defeats the purpose. It’s unnecessary and defeats the purpose of the product. It’s really foolish. I have legitimate reasons to be aware of people trying to break in or lure me to open the door. Timing is paramount. Save the ads for another time and place, not for when we are trying to view the cameras. ORIGINAL Review: My front door is recessed a bit and when I view the camera feed at any time of day even when the sun is on the other side of the house, the image suffers white out. I wanted to watch my cars in the drive way but it just looks white. Morning, afternoon, evening both doorbells on the front and rear doors show greatly overexposed images. That kind of defeats the purpose of a security camera. A white photo or video does the police no good and it does me no good. The updates have not addressed this yet. The exposure, sensitivity, ISO whatever it’s called needs to be adjustable in the software.

I had to upgrade my work phone and with that, I had to install the updated app. Now, I have to accept the terms and conditions EVERY TIME I open the app, and video clips take much longer to load (if they load at all). I’ve used the cameras for years and love them, but they are only as good as the app. Hope I can get these issues ironed out or I’ll have to go a different route.

This update dropped all my devices and have not been able to add them again

The recent update has rendered the entire system almost useless. The app is crashing constantly on iOS, the cameras are intermittently working, when working they are choppy even with strong internet. The playback of videos that are actually saved are bizarre at best as one person has multiplied into several as they walk through the frame and that’s if the camera actually catches them in the first place. My cameras are frequently not being triggered by any movement now. These complaints are common in other reviews recently posted. An update to the update is urgently needed as these cameras are simply not working.

I have 5 video doorbells. When someone rings the bell. It take forever to see who’s at the door. The envelope shows up and spins for awhile. By then the person either rings again or leaves. To view the history of all footage that too take a while to show up. Wished I had stayed with my security company equipment

I own the camera, yet they advertise in the app I have to use to view my cameras. Ownership is dead.

Since the update I have not received a single notification

Spent a ton on this system and now they destroyed the app and the camera AI is a massive joke! You cannot organize your cameras in the app?!? Really?!? Why would you remove that functionality?!? This is terrible! And don’t get me started on the dumb AI cameras that thinks cars driving by are packages being delivered or people are a flag waving in the wind. This was supposed to get smarter over time and clearly has gone the other way.

Thank you for addressing the iPad full screen Events support quickly. Works just as it had before the big redesign!
