    Ever since updating to the new Interface, I’ve had to reboot my 2 homebases several times a day, cams don’t refresh. Just a nightmare!!! And still only half of my cams (24 in total) lose connection. Nothing has changed as far as my wifi. I NEVER had problems for 2 years prior to this update. So dissatisfied

  • Nothing but disappointment

    Since I’ve received these cameras I’ve had to change things after the fact multiple times. Cameras do not record immediately, missing people breaking into my car or even approaching my backyard. What good is a camera who cannot record the full event. To make matters worse it is impossible to download these videos. It takes me 100 times of “failed to download” to finally download the video. As of right now I am unable to download a video and I have tried to disconnect from WiFi and use my cell service or go closer to the internet source. And you can only download videos via the app. I’ve been trying to download a 40 second clip for an hour. This has been incredibly frustrating and I am looking into new options because I feel extremely unsafe for the amount of money I spent on these cameras and the security system I bought. Awful. What a waste of money.

    Inconsistent and glitchy, but still provides a bit of security camera piece of mind. It’s worth it for the simple fact that you don’t pay a monthly fee/charge, but expect some frustration along the way.

    Everything Eufy is fantastic. Overall this new app is wonderful, but it has some rough edges. At least twice a day I have to accept terms and conditions. Hoping they get that sorted soon

  • Latest update fix my issues

    For almost a year I have had problems viewing video from my wireless doorbell cam. The app would start to show video and then have an error decrypting. Once I got that I couldn’t even see events and thumbnails. The latest update fixed all of the. I can view all of the doorbell clips on my phone and iPad. The video is smooth and clear. (btw I also like the new icon and interface)

    New update still has awful choppy video, slow to load notifications and cameras that disconnect frequently. This is basically a ploy to just make you buy their homebase. Make everything else awful so you’ll have to buy something to get your cameras to work like they did/should. Reolink. Spend a couple extra dollars and get real service. Eufy is/has become just as greedy as Ring (and just as bad). Mix in the fact that they’ve been caught stealing your info in the past and you have a situation that’s just a headache.

    Along with the new update comes having to “Agree” with the new Terms and Conditions every time you open the app is a deal breaker. If this is not fixed I will trash my 4 cameras. The added time it takes is a security risk.

    I am within all requirements needed for this indoor mini cam wired cam to work modelT8414. I’ve tried all phones androids and iPhone. Android has a better chance at reading QR code but still won’t connect to router. Some couldn’t read the QR code. Always says “cannot connect to WiFi”. I’ve spent and wasted hours upon hours upon HOURS. I’m mad frustrated with it to the point that I’m throwing it away. Waste of money and time. There is only so much that the solutions can do when you do absolutely everything.
