Previous app version (before June 23 2025), while awkward and full of ads, worked reasonably well, showing camera output and letting you review and delete clips. New version fails constantly - stopping during replay, taking 30+ seconds to delete a clip at best, sometimes just failing to delete clips at all, sometimes just not responding anymore. Disastrous update.

The app does not work and keeps on loading for hours. I uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times still no luck.. my eufy security camera goes into trash.

recorded events on solar cam no longer show in app with latest update. you only get notifications but when you check on app, they vanish. camera is now useless.

The app is just okay for me. Once you set a greeting on doorbell camera you can’t change it. Mediocre at best.
Homebase 2 and HomeKit

Have been going back and forth with Eufy support for weeks trying to get HomeBase 2 to connect and talk to HomeKit. Nothing they suggest or provide helps. Now they are telling me that since my HomeBase is out of warranty I just have to buy a new one. Well I don’t really want to spend money on another Eufy device if they can’t even figure out how to fix the first one.
Impossible to connect

The software is absolute garbage from the word go. It’s impossible to login. It hangs on the login screen. Once you do login all you get is the spinner and it’s impossible to connect a device. Some unbelievably bad software considering how well it’s generally reviewed. Do not buy do not recommend.

If you’re living in the U.S., I don’t think this will work. There’s no real customer support—when you call, no agents are available, and when you email them, an AI responds. I recently bought this camera and tried to pair it with the app. I followed all the troubleshooting steps they provided and even researched additional methods, but the app stayed stuck on the loading bar. It doesn’t let you use the app properly. You can log in, but it remains on the loading screen and doesn’t allow you to access any of its features.
