  • Face ID is not working to sign in

    For the last few months, after the app automatically signs one out after 15 minutes of inactivity, the next time you sign in it requires you to put in your username and password, even if you had previously enabled Face ID. It also doesn't work well with Apple's Password app to fill in your username and password. It has become a real hassle to use this app. I hope the developers read this.

    App is beyond terrible and makes me question why I pay for two Lifelock subscriptions. Clicking on “my subscription “ tells me my benefits but nothing else. Can’t see when I have to renew, can’t see how much I paid . With the Norton merger the whole process has gotten to be terrible. Long hold times , even though I’m supposed to have a priority number. Language barrier ow when talking to reps in some cases .but this is a review about the app and not the service. So in short limited option and control in the app

  • Last update broke my login!!

    I have enjoyed the LifeLock app for a decade! The last update broke my login such that I now have to manually login with User ID and Password!! Face ID nor PIN will work. They both setup just fine but the next time I launch the app I need to manually login once again!!!! FIX IT!!!

    The app is great except for logging in with face recognition. It worked for years and now I keep having to type in my info. Once the face recognition works again I would give five stars.

    No matter how many times I click “remember username”, “trust this device”, or “use face-ID” without fail, I will need to enter all of my log-in information again. This includes a one time password, my username and password. The device is never trusted and face-ID is never requested. I understand logging out a session, but it seemingly resets the app every single time. The functionality is decent once you get into the app, it’s just extremely annoying to have to fully log in every single time despite selecting the options to trust my device and attempts to streamline the process in the future. If I could log in with Face-ID every time and didn’t have to enter all of info manually, it would have a higher rating.

    I’ve had Lifelock for around 10 years and the service has been great. The only complaint I have is about the IPhone app. I check my app with every notification I’m sent and that is multiple times a day. When I had a Samsung Galaxy S22 phone I rarely ever had to reset my biometrics, however, with the IPhone 16 Pro Max I have to reset at least 2x a weekly. I also save my passwords in the phone and utilize Apple’s password generation capability. Not sure why this happens because I don’t have this issue with any other app. It’s very frustrating to have to enter the user name (it won’t allow the form fill) and then go to my password app to locate the password to fill. Not sure why I have to keep doing this but I’m cursing this more and more when it happens. It’s just inconvenient and very frustrating!

    Jan 10: Please provide a real update on the timing for fixing the repeat log in issue??? Don’t tell us it’s temporary and others have reported it so you’re finally looking into it. What exactly is this taking so long to resolve? Dec: Please fix the repeated logging in issue everyone is reporting. Confused why it’s taking so long? The option to Enable Face ID isn’t working and instead each time we go to use the app it’s like starting from scratch or signing up all over again. Do something so it’s easy to use this app again, please.
  • Face ID Will Not Stay Activated

    The app used to work fine. But then about six months ago, the face ID unlock feature, began failing. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times. And each time, the face ID unlock fails. As a result, every time I go into the app, I have to enter my full username and password. And the PIN fails as well. Please fix this!!!!
