  • Poor customer service

    When the sims break (which they do regularly) they simply tell you to order a new one, which they send out at an extremely leisurely pace, and do not reimburse you for the period they do not provide the service due to their fault. No other complaint but this isn’t exactly a minor problem. Considering moving to a more reliable provider.
  • Spam filtering doesn’t work!!!

    There should be a MUCH easier and simpler way to block and report spam calls. I turned on spam filters in Google Fi and on my iPhone settings, yet my google fi voicemail box is FILLED spam. It’s annoying. For such a big, mature service, I’m shocked that the user experience is so poorly executed for blocking, reporting, and deleting spam.
  • Functionality and service are abysmal

    Very difficult transition from TMobile and thinking strongly of returning. We have had a bunch of technical glitches that Google can’t help with, such as a very important contact whose texts I can’t receive. In addition, you’d think a company like Google could design a functioning app. When using the support chat on the Google fi app, there is NO WAY to return to the conversation if you leave briefly to troubleshoot — at their suggestion! Huh?? There is also no way to revisit a previous conversation — it says they are working on the issue, and to basically leave them alone. Cheap, but you get what you pay for.

    Had no connectivit on their international plan, spend so many hours with customer service trying to resolve issues but no luck. Didn’t even provide a proper refund. Avoid
  • No data in Alaska

    Activated and set up the setting accordingly. It can make phone calls but never gets data. It has full bar connecting to Verizon. All APN settings is done correctly per customer service. iPhone 15. Even a small company like airalo makes the e-sim work seamless.
  • Deceptive Advertising

    Been a Fi customer for over 4 years. After being in Japan for 3 months, data was cut off. Shortly after, texting stopped working as well.
  • Poor Service

    It throttles to 2g after 35gigs of usage which basically no data service. Everything nowadays are in high definition which mean it’s easy to run 35gig of usage in a week. They basically want you to use it on WiFi.
  • This Is A Scam

    Activated service in the US. Had service. Went abroad and now no service. Their support is useless. I have reported them to the FCC and the better business bureau.
  • WARNING - They will rip you off

    This sham is being run offshore and they are thieves. I canceled the service and they are continuing to bill me on a card that I did not authorize that was registered on Google Pay and told me they will not cancel my service for 90 days. I changed carriers and have nothing active and still charge me and claim I am using data. Lost all respect for Google because of this. I am not even able to remove my cards from Google Pay now. You have been warned. Go to the Google Fi website and check out the complaints in the help section. There will be a class action lawsuit I’m sure.
