    Went to Europe and while my brother’s bought SIM card did not work well, we were able to all use my WiFi (3 of us total). I definitely am glad to have bought it before I left!

    This was a nearly perfect option for at home WiFi needs. I used to be able to keep all my devices connected. However, after Solis made a required software update, every time a device is idle for a brief period I have to “reconnect” to the hotspot which is aggravating as it not just causes interruptions, but I’ll use up a lot of outside data before I realize that I’ve been “knocked off” the hotspot. I asked Solis support on this so that it’ll remember my devices but they said it’s not possible. I think that this is a bit of a fumble on the developers side. Not that the service or help is bad, but it brings up a lot of inconvenience that I’m paying a fair amount of money to tolerate.

    The unlimited plans ARE LIMITED. It is a scam. False advertising. Wasted my money. Tech support is practically non existent. All they do is switch towers for you and you can do that yourself. Almost impossible to stream a movie even in the middle of a huge metroplex. Don’t waste your money. I hate this thing.

    First of all the iOS app doesn’t work well. I haven’t been able to access my status info for my device in a long time. The android app seems to work fine though. When I talked to customer support they said it must be down for maintenance but that’s probably not the case since it’s still not workin in the app weeks later. If I need to check my status or use signal scan I have to use an android device. Please fix this!!

    On the website I used the google account method to sign up and login. But this isn’t available on this app so I can’t login with my account now. Am I missing something?

    This is the first app review I’ve ever written and probably the last. I stopped using Solis wifi, not knowing that I was automatically put into a auto-renewal plan. Got charged 100$ , instantly unsubscribed and called “solis customer support” to get a refund as I wasn’t going to use the wifi(I moved). Was basically told to get lost, “we tell you that we automatically put everyone who subscribes into auto-renewal by default. What company does that??? Forces someone to be put in a auto-renewal plan and not refund them when they come to find 100$ missing from their account for something they don’t use. A sketchy broke one. 100$ is a decent amount nowadays in our economy. Lame company, lame rules, no notifications besides their ads. I legitimately feel robbed. Stay away.

    I need a phone app to activate my day-pass. Finding a laptop or desktop to get online and activate a day-pass while traveling is not practical. This app only works with old 4G Solis hotspots.

    App hasn’t worked for me in months even on the newest iPhone. It just shows a black screen. I can only sign in from the web.
