Trying to receive a password reset and restore your purchases on a new phone has been a terrible experience. Never received a password reset email and the contact us was not helpful.

I love this app and have been using for about 9 months as a premium user. I love the new upgrades, they are so helpful, especially when you can put pot size and distance from window etc…. I live in Co, where it is very dry, I have invested in many humidifiers to keep my tropicals very happy. I wish there was an option to skip the misting since I have the humidifiers. Keep up the great work, my plants and I thank you

Love the app. It’s helped me keep my plants thriving! Only suggestion would be a way to export or share daily tasks. It would be really nice for when others are watching over things for a few days.
  • Great so far!

Planta has really helped me have a schedule for my plants that actually works! I have a few plants that haven’t been doing the greatest and planta has really helped me figure out what I was doing wrong how to save them! I love planta so far it’s worth the download !<33 One thing I wish was different though is the whole premium thing… I feel I shouldn’t have to pay a bunch of money just to keep my plants alive. I can keep them alive by myself but they should at least let me scan it to know what plant it is without premium so I could at least research its needs. Just a small suggestion though! If you are a beginner and don’t know exactly how to care for your plants please download planta it’s a huge help:)).
  • Don’t depend on planta

They added lots of options in the recent updates besides choosing pot type now soil type and size of pot is an option. Too bad all these selections make NO DIFFERENCE in how often you’re told to water plants. I’m in zone 5a it’s basically winter over here and I feel the watering schedule has not changed enough from summer watering. Every time it tells me to water I select “skip until next time”
  • I find myself becoming increasingly frustrated with the app's lack of features

As my plant collection and knowledge has grown I've found myself becoming increasingly frustrated with the lack of some crucial details or rather, the inability to add them. There's no option for leca or sphagnum moss as substrate. The watering schedules for some plants are just completely off. My collection is largely indoors and under grow lights and temperature is 70+ degrees so there should be an option to keep the watering schedule consistent during the "off" season, but instead I either have to update it for every plant (about 90) to a custom watering schedule or continue to add watering events which doesn't help anything but waste more time. Most of my plants haven't slowed down since fall began, so I don't see the point of Planta changing the watering schedule. I don't find it worth paying for Planta when it makes me this frustrated and will be phasing it out. It's also buggy and slow when I'm trying to click the bubbles to complete a task. I feel like the app could be better. Right now, I'm regretting the subscription. I've used this app for 6 months.
  • Good Reminders but Confusing App Design

I like that Planta has a lot of information on the plants and it’s helpful to have the reminders show up for watering times. There’s a lot of stuff I didn’t even consider about a plant and the care of it. But the app itself I find a bit confusing design-wise. I think there are some easy fixes that could make things easier to find and make for a better user experience.
  • Very helpful app, but missing a few things

I’ve been using this app for about 2 months now, and it’s been so helpful! My plants are doing amazing, however, I wish there was an option to update a plant type without losing progress—some plant types if unknown in the beginning are hard for the app to identify. I just think it would be helpful to be able to change a plant into the variegated version, or for example, an unknown orchid into what it truly is! I’ve also noticed that there’s no grow light option; I think it would be helpful to be able to change settings on a plant so that the app knows to track that there’s enough light (some plants are drying out faster than the app expects it to, since it believes it’s not getting as much light in a north facing window). Overall, this app is amazing! It has a lot of minor details in each plant’s personal settings that allow for more accurate notifications.

This app has helped me keep my plant babies alive when life gets busy and I get forgetful! It helped me learn about my plants and what sort of schedules they should be on AND where was best in my house for them — although I wanted them in complete opposite places for my own esthetic pleasure, for example cooking herbs in the kitchen windows BUT some do best in the living room window! I’ve learned no matter where my plants are they bring beauty and happiness into my home.
