  • The best I’ve ever come across

The only thing this is missing is a follow along text that goes along with the conversation. I feel being able to pick apart the sentences can help visualize how they are structured. Other than that 5/5

I am impressed on how Pimsleur got me to see the importance of all the aspects of learning a language, amd the importance of daily practice.

I majored in Russian in college, but since I didn’t have any opportunities to use it I thought I’d pick it up again. While I can easily re-learn grammar and vocabulary on my own, I wanted to use a program to help me practice speaking Russian. The speech recognition software is very “glitch-y.” I know I have an accent when I speak Russian but half the time the software doesn’t recognize ANYTHING I said. I either score 100 or it can’t recognize what I said at all. And I started at the very beginning of the program! I’ve traveled to Russia and I know my pronunciation isn’t that bad. The speech recognition part of the program needs much improvement. I was going to purchase the whole Russian program, but I’m not so sure anymore.

I love it, I’m learning Italian now. The German one worked so well, Germans thought I was German! It makes a huge difference speaking the language the country you are in. People were extra nice to me.
  • Prob the best language learning app out there

…but the UI is subpar and there are certain audio recognition features that seem inaccurate/have too much variance for the price.
  • La mejor opción para aprender bien rápido

The only app worth using. Take advantage of the skill development for each lesson, the voice coach and the Enrichment section. You can get reminders and watch your study streak grow.
  • Improper Grammar

It’s not a horrible app. It can atleast teach you important things like how to pronounce and read, but the speaking lessons are not good. I speak a bit of German so I wanted to check it out. For example, I’m trying to learn German and it’s telling me that “Sie verstehem” means “Do you understand?” When in reality it mean “they understand”, which is a statement, not a question. When you are asking a yes or no question, the verb comes before the subject.
  • Most comprehensive Program!

I’m using 3 different language programs that all do something a little different. This one by far is the most comprehensive!
