    I subscribed to Master Class and was excited to get my hands on the content. There was an initial user-error issue with my subscription that took 3 days to resolve with tech support, but I now have full access and am very satisfied with the app.
  • Poor Billing Experience

    Update: I reached out to their support as recommended by their reply to this review and no action was taken to resolve the concern. They have tried charging me an annual membership renewal 6 times or more even after I let them know that I was not renewing. Now my card is locked and they keep trying again.
  • Good content and production, poor app performance

    I like the content. I love that someone compiled knowledge from leading experts and put it all in one place with a high production value. I have some frustrations with the iPhone app performance. The user interface leaves something to be desired, and the app freezes a lot. Could use an overhaul.

  • App doesn’t work

    Can’t logon with my stored password in the app, but I can logon on the website. After that is successful, it asks me to open up in the app (because there is no way to access the videos through the browser on my phone). I click yes open in app and it’s stuck on the login screen. It’s just a loop going back-and-forth between the app and the site and I can’t access any of the videos. I’ve double checked to make sure i’m using the latest version of the app. I am. I’m on Wi-Fi and everything’s working fine otherwise just not this app. Very frustrating!

    I have tried everything and cannot get the app to cast to my tv at home. Even using chromecast and all devices are connected to the same network. I do not have any issues with any other streaming app. Just this one. I love Masterclass but your app is terrible.
  • Great content with a dysfunctional app

    I have been very impressed with the variety and content of the featured Masters and Classes! However the app itself doesn’t function well enough to be able to effectively get much out of that content! Navigating seems to be designed and developed by the lowest cost outsource developers-no one who has ever actually USED a mobile app! Good luck setting up your library or finding something twice, let alone going right back to where you left off. It’s nearly impossible to cast to a smart TV. There was a time when the app was available with my smart TVs, but no longer. To the featured Masters on the platform: this app is such a mess that you’re probably better off putting your stuff on YouTube! It’s not worth the subscription cost to deal with this app. The only reason I continued for a second year was it was so challenging to use that I couldn’t cancel in time. I won’t let that happen again! It’s really too bad, as it’s a good concept with some great content, but not worth the effort.

    I should have read some reviews before purchasing an annual membership (which I thought I was only paying $15 for one month)- dumb on my part I suppose. I reached out multiple times to customer support (email and phone) for the 30 day satisfaction guarantee for a full refund- no response, are you kidding me??
  • Not worth it

    You can find the caliber of content, if not better, for free on podcasts or YouTube. Most of the content is just celebrities talking about themselves. Very few are real “experts.” I listened to several courses in the first couple of days before requesting a refund. I didn’t learn anything of value.

    Recently I reopened my MasterClass App to find that all of the “classes” I’d paid for were unavailable to me!!! This is very poor management and control of your credibility. I refuse to pay all over again… My original payment was in the $400 range…worthless investment
