Description

Are you an American living/traveling abroad and have no idea if 15 degrees celsius is hot or cold? Or are you a foreigner in the US and wondering why it is snowing at 25 degrees? Well look no further, WeatherGO has you covered! WeatherGO converts the temperature using real-time weather. Now you can have all those awesome weather conversations with your cool friends, tinder dates, and people on the street without the crippling anxiety that comes with not knowing if 35 degrees Celsius is beach weather (it is) or if you should wear a sweater when it is 60 degrees Fahrenheit (you should). • Paid version glitch

For a while now there is an issue. Every time I open the app it has reverted to showing New York City instead of my city. Also it always shows that it’s 80 degrees Fahrenheit in NYC instead of the actual temperature which is currently 44 degrees Fahrenheit. If I search for my location and then NYC it will then show the correct temperatures for both but it is a little tedious to have to repeat my search location every time I open the app, especially with a paid version. If it weren’t for this issue, this would be a 5 star app, for me.
  • Who pays for a weather app?

No way — can’t do much in/with this app without paying. Don’t download unless you’re prepared to pay.
  • Needs to be cheaper

Found another app that does this for free. It just doesn’t feel like a smart financial decision to pay $12/year for this. I know it’s not that much, but these days, every other app also asks for subscriptions, so it adds up. A weather app is just not going to make the cut for subscriptions worth paying for. At the very least, it should be a 1 time charge/lifetime subscription. Very nice aesthetics tho!
  • Super Useful!

This app has been great in helping me learn and understand the Celcius scale as well as I know the Fahrenheit scale. It is a wonderful resource is IOS17. Customer Service is simply outstanding! I had a few issues and wrote to the developer. As others have said here, Chris wrote back immediately and followed up several times until the issues were resolved. This is the best app developer experience I have had.
  • NO iPAD VERSION

No iPad version therefore you are condemned to portrait only view. Using an iPad with a keyboard appendage means you cannot take advantage of your physical keyboard appendage because the physical keyboard REQUIRES LANDSCAPE VIEW(!).

Why is it so hard to out C and F in one app? I don’t know but Weather Go did it and that’s why I downloaded the app. Since then, I’ve come to love it for more reasons that that: it’s easy to read, accurate, and the widgets are great. :-) I upgraded to Pro!

Had a bug with the app and they fixed it. Chris got in contact with me about the issue and said that it would be resolved. Low and behold, I got another email from Chis saying that the issue was resolved. Updated the app and it works perfectly now. Now I can see C and F simultaneously! Great job Chris.
  • Not worth subscription

There is nothing free in this APP.. misleading marketing to get to a 12$ subscription a year is dishonest and not worth it

I downloaded the app because I wanted the ability to see what the temperature was in Celsius because we right everything down in Celsius at work. But still wanted to know the temperature in a real American’s measurement. However the widget won’t update to my location just stuck at New York.
