    I previously had Philo on my iPad and it worked well, then I cancelled for a time. I subscribed again at the higher price and downloaded the app on my tv/firestick. I was enjoying it except when I try to rewind or fast forward. More often than not I get knocked out of what I am watching and then it takes quite a while to get back to the season and episode I was watching. Sometimes I try to find a season and episode I want to watch and it doesn’t easily let me scroll through them. It takes me to a season and episode I don’t want to see. There are a few things like that have driven me crazy enough to cancel. It is a shame because $31.00 per month is a decent price compared to other apps. And things like Peacock or Paramount+ are not included without paying extra or downloading their app on any other services either. If they get these kinks ironed out, I would resubscribe. For now, I can get another inexpensive but good app to watch the cooking and HGTV shows that I watch more than anything else.

    I understand that some times there’s going to be ads, and yes, you can fast forward ads during the program, but you’ve got 5 1/2 minutes of ads that you can’t fast forward before the program and I’m paying over $30 a month for that privilege? No thank you. The other disappointment was that I really didn’t know what Philo was but was told that I could watch the Cosby show and you really just watch a few episodes that are randomly from any season. There’s no starting with episode one and enjoying the entire series. If I’m paying over $30 a month I would like to have a lot more available to me. I’m paying less on other apps for a lot more with no ads. This is not worth it. Cancelled. At least you get a free trial, that’s a positive.

    I don’t love it, but I don’t hate it. I know after my trial is over, I will not be keeping the subscription. The price is just ridiculous for a streaming app with ads. I get it if I’m streaming the live tv but the VOD shouldn’t have ads.

    I signed up for the free trail and it had so many ads it was hard to get through one thing I started. Also it’s really hard to cancel the free trail in the app. Avoid them the ads will drive you insane and for 32 dollars a month is crazy there should be no ads at that rate. Also I’m pretty sure they charged my earlier

    To the people complaining about the ads- go back to $200 cable and see how you like it. Most of this can be DVR, so the ads aren’t a thing for me at all. But the updates are killing me :( I had no issues but every update in the past few months causes a problem. Latest now? I can only watch one show. If I decide to watch another show, it won’t play. Have to get out of the app and get back in to have it work. I watch on Roku TV. Otherwise, this has saved me soooooo much money thank you!

    For $30 I would appreciate no ads and actually being able to stream the show I want to watch without waiting for it air… Absolute rip off

  • Difficulty signing in on LG

    I have been having the hardest time with signing in to my account on my LG tv it’s constantly asking me to sign in and when I try both options it send me to the start your free trail screen and only options are free trial and send account link and I tried that and it leads me back to here . I really do enjoy the options of channels I can watch seems to be fine on my Vizio tv but on my lg in my room it’s not allowing me to sign in. I’d really love some assistance.
