Sooooo I basically commented once praising their UI update which was good I believe l. But they stopped there. This UI needs some major work it’s lacking so many basic and intuitive things. Lets you want to continue watching the series your on. Good news there’s a continue watching section on homepage. Bad news once that episode is done you have to exit out search the series name and hopefully it kept track of what episode you were on and you can actually continue there. It’s missing so much.

Meh. Only bought a sub to watch Rock is a Lady, cuz hidive is the only provider. Didn’t watch anything else, going back to Crunchyroll.

I started using this only cause it had a couple shows I wanted to watch. I thought it would’ve had added other shows that came out but whatever. It frustrating that I have to go back and search the show cause it doesn’t always so me the last episode I watched. Then since last night now the app doesn’t work and I can’t watch anything. I just tried to go to the website and that down too! Did I waste my money on another app??

HIDIVE provides much needed competition in the anime space and it mostly does work quite well. The media player looks good and the captions are well done. The dubs are good as well. The main drawback is simply the rather awkward user interface. Once you get used to it, it can be manageable and there have been updates to improve it. Presently however, it can still be jarring to a new user.

This is for all the app versions tvOS iOS and iPadOS AMC if your not going to put money into them help them out after you bought them just give up and sell it someone that will They have good shows but the app legit just kicked me out after one episode I backed out and I had to resign back in then it still didn’t work then I had delete the app and redownload it then it worked

The app needs work when I continue watching an anime where I left off it won’t go to the next episode so I need to search the anime after watching then continue on. Saving anime to a playlist doesn’t work half the time when I save an anime it won’t be in my save list.

For one, it has anime available that other main great apps like Crunchyroll does not, but the main issues are that once you start an anime here you need to save that anime, not the episode but the anime in general. Because, if you stop for any reason you need to look it up again. It will not give you a continuance on that show option. This app also has issues of working. It’ll have times where you watch a show and then randomly cut off saying no online connection, even though everything is full barred and in 5G. Lastly is the issue of working at at all. It’s down and it’s more frequent than it should. I would say 1.5 stars but the fact Crunchyroll doesn’t have certain shows; especially new once like it does here makes me say 3

Please fix the UI. Not being able to just see an entire series when you click on it or go to the next episode or exit an episode and not being able to choose a different episode and not being able to continue watching and then going to the next episode is wild. Please fix cause I love the anime you guys get but the app and even the web browser makes it so difficult to watch anime and I end up going back to crunch for ease of use and rewatching other shows.
