I give 5 stars for the anime shows. For the app in the other hand seem kind of broken which makes it annoying. Such as I set it to subtitles off and still have to manually do it every time. The auto continue doesn’t work , only sometimes. I can get most apps on my google tv but not for this app. Hope this app eventually fix itself to avoid the annoying repeats of the flaws I mentioned. Also I notice the subtitles is moving quicker then the voices , the timing is off. As well as the words don’t match the acting for the English voice. I cannot said for the others cause I don’t speak it. Sometime the app seem to look like it zoom in on my phone device. Still I gave 5 stars for the anime, not to the app itself. I admit, Crunchyroll have their annoying flaws too. But am grateful to be able to watch anime. For someone from USA , I don’t have a lot of choices but to accept these broken apps while they’re lazy in the fixings and updating

Almost no features work as expected. Search doesn't find words in titles except the first word. Next episode doesn't autoplay despite setting being checked. Episode list only shows up sometimes. Continue Watching doesn't update with last show watched. Feels like the developer gave up and is waiting to be acquired by Crunchyroll.

there are so many bugs sometimes you can't even watch anything cause it won't let you login then when you do log in you still cant watch because your account hasn't saved that you already paid for this garbage and even if you do click on restore purchases IT DOESN'T EVEN WORK YOU CAN WATCH SECONDS NOT A FULL SHOW YOU CAN WATCH A FEW SECONDS OF A SHOW THEN IT WILL kick you off and you have to start all over again dude people are giving you there money they work hard for fix this CRAPPY APP

The subscription function that is required to use the app literally does work, do not download this app or subscribe to it because they quite literally do not provide the service you pay for.

You force me to add the shows I’m watching to a watchlist, but now I can’t get rid of the shows off of my watchlist. Why can’t you keep track of the shows? I am watching and then you hit the continue watching it after that episode doesn’t go to the next one, so I gotta go back into my watchlist to find the show and the episode I was on just to find the show again and guess what episode I was on what a joke and a waste of money probably works good on other devices but cell phone is not it

Maybe it had problems but it works fine. Don’t worry about the bad ratings. Just Enjoy it

On the continue watching panel, it only has the episode number and name of episode, it should also display what the name of the show so I'm not judging which anime it is based on a picture of the show, also another issue I see is that I have a ton on my watch list yet it only lets me see a hand full of shows and not all the ones I saved, I hope this review helps the HIDIVE team improve the app soon to be more user friendly, I enjoy all the anime that I can't find anywhere else just need more dub choices

Complete waste of money!! If you are looking for English dubs don’t look here. Minuscule selection. There collection of anime is just plain small as well. I paid for a year upfront because it was cheaper. No medicine for regret.

What’s the point in paying for an app that barely works? Then on the rare occasion that it works most of the library is unavailable.

I can help but feel this was made this bad on purpose.
