Google Assistant

Can’t use shortcuts without being interrupted by a Gemini AI ad. Have to interact with the ad to proceed. I only use this app to interact with Google hardware. I am not interested in AI.

I tried Assistant after having used Gemini. Gemini’s user interface and design is way better but it is missing features that Assistant has but that are difficult to use with Assistant and some features in Assistant don’t seem to work right. Gemini isn’t perfect but the user experience is much better.

google assistant is the way you link your own music to play in waymo - this function used to work and now no longer does. i have submitted MANY support/feedback tickets and have received zero response and this feature continues to not connect. even when i ask google assistant to help with the issue or connect to support it will offer the top google hits for the word support or feedback - this is the worst “assistant”, it cannot even function at a basic chatgpt level.

It is always asking me to update but I have! It does not seem to work fully with my Bose Speaker. I have totally reset my speaker but same problems with google assistant.

I try to get support from Google Home support and they blew me off. I haven’t heard back from him. Google Assistant and Google Home stopped working properly at the same time two or three weeks ago. Google Home says I can't recognize my voice whether I have a voice match turned on or not and won't interact with my tile finder which is called Phillip's keys. I am Phillip. Google home will also not call my phone number anymore so people at home can't call my phone number through Google home. My wife can't walk so this is important. I've uninstalled every Google app I can virtually and reinstall them after removing all my devices from home and re-adding them. Google assistant says I can’t locate TWO THING when I try to locate my Tile finder. The tile app works fine . I have unlinked and reed to several times to the tile service or whatever you call it. I’ve gone online deleted voice profile profiles redone my voice profile disabled voice profile, and even with voice matching disabled it says, I cannot verify your voice when I try to locate my keys on Google Home. I mean, it makes no sense and it used to work the more Google updates. Things is the worst work.

This app understands NOTHING. Everything I tell it is either “I don’t understand” or “let me google that for you”. That’s just me with extra steps

Works maybe 10% of the time, context window is one message. Shocking bad at everything.

Worked fine before their recent update, now the app won’t work to save its love. Terrible and wish that there was a no star option since it won’t even do what it’s designed to do
