This app cannot be severed from your account. You will always need to give it access to your contacts or else it will not allow calls to come through.

The ActivAmor app only reveals the name of the caller as they have input their name. AT&T needs to change their app in order to reveal the account holder’s real name. This app doesn’t reveal accurately who’s calling.

This app has protected my iPhone 6 S Plus from scam calls and telemarketers from the first day I installed it. However, as with so many apps, it has been updated to a point that it will no longer function unless I update my phone’s OS to a version that isn’t compatible with the phone. When will app makers learn that “new and improved” often is NOT a good that. They need to continue to support older versions of their app so that older phones can still benefit from their app’s protection. I can’t afford a newer phone because my income is limited.
  • Doesn’t help

I’d prefer its predecessor. The amount of spam/scam calls I have had since getting this app is unbearable. The only way to stop them completely is a setting within the phone itself. By blocking ALL unknown numbers. Can’t do that though. I don’t program all numbers I call or have received calls from. So, does this app help? Maybe, maybe not! Either way in my opinion, it’s junk. With the money that I have forked out to AT&T, and I’m sure everyone else has as well. You’d think they’d be ahead of the curve. (Edit) I have recently turned on a “focus” on my phone. Making it to where I still get the calls but they get forwarded to voicemail if I am not using my phone if I am not using it at that current moment. In the average day I get 8+ spam calls. Starting at about 8 am and not stopping till about 9 - 10 pm. As of writing this edit in is 1:30 in the afternoon and I have received 4 spam calls already. I still stand by what I previously said. Active armor is junk. The only thing that is more junk is the fact that we need junk protection to protect us from junk people.

I downloaded the app and I can’t even use it, it just says “the application is unavailable at this time.” 🤷🏻‍♂️
