  • Long time player- some unfortunate updates

I’ve been playing this game on and off for years but some of the new updates have been frustrating. Im not one who plays to decorate so I would save my stars to get the 30 min time boost after spending my stars. They recently changed this to a random power up/ of free furniture item and I’m greatly disappointed.

Be careful not to get too invested. I’ll spend hours not being able to pass a level. Pay 2 win for the win.

Does the job to keep me busy. Played this game for years and it’s still my go-to

This is a fun matching game, but I miss the days when you could actually earn one of the “in-game boosts”: broom, spoon, glove.

I’ve played the game for a couple of years. It certainly has addictive qualities and features that I like. It’s relaxing, competitive without being driven by time. There are enough freebies, helps, and prizes to motivate more play. On the other hand, some levels will require dozens of attempts. I believe this is designed to get you to spend money on extra moves, or helps to get through a level. Some of the individual competitions that are set up or absurdly difficult. You’re never going to win a car race, or get through the pony game or most of the other side games. Ever. Don’t waste your time on these. They’re super hard. Visually it’s attractive and new levels keep getting added so there is more to go. So I’d recommend it without saying it’s my favorite.

Initially, this was one of my favorite games. Now, it’s just frustrating. I constantly tell myself that I’m done. It’s definitely costing too much to play. Maybe I’ll just delete it and start over. 🤷

You have to have money set aside to play this game a shame because I like it but can’t afford to play.
  • Manipulative!

I have been playing this game for awhile now and accept that there are in app purchases. However, the events and time limited rooms have gotten ridiculously difficult to complete due to the number of “sapphires” or “ light bulbs” needed. The developers know what I mean when I say a room went from needing 20 bulbs to 500 bulbs just to start the room! When a level garners only 30ish bulbs, how can the room be completed? And the levels themselves are set so 1 more move is needed almost every time. Choice is to play the level numerous times or use coins for extra moves. I have known that this is the way this game works, pushing the in app purchases, but now the manipulation has become so glaringly obvious, it’s insulting. It’s too bad, really. I enjoyed playing this game, but I don’t want to spend hours with so little progress. And it’s funny, because I actually would purchase when there was a chance to complete an event. Now, there’s no point, since completing is nearly impossible anyway. It’s too bad you all got greedy and got away from the fun little game it used to be.
  • Fun until you’re at high levels

This game starts out just easy enough to draw you in. Then, once you’re at a high enough level, it becomes impossible to beat the levels until you’ve played 60 or more lives when the game itself feels sorry for you and lets you win. I have used less than 40-60 lives on fewer than 25 levels of my last couple hundred. It becomes unfun.
