Current wind and a reasonable prediction is all I need

The new version is cumbersome. Old version was quick and easy to switch locations and find basic data. Not a fan of the changes and will look for alternatives.

I bought the subscription to see the wind and wave height forecast for surfing and kayak fishing off shore. The free version showed me the NOAA forecast but the paid version only shows me the current day. Would not have paid for the subscription knowing this.

This app is horrible. It’s all about upgrading and up selling

As a sailor on Lake Michigan, you have to know the conditions. Forecasts are important but knowing actual conditions gives me 5he full picture

Great weather app I use it daily for my fishing charter business. Bouycast is accurate and dependable. Keep up the good work.

won't let me put location in

Why aren’t the small crafts and weather advisories on the locations for where they we issued? You get the notices, but they do not appear in the stations. Any ideas?????

UPDATE***- I was in contact with Mike at Buoycast and advised him of the issue I had with some of the areas in Alaska and within a day it was fixed and has worked great since. Great customer service. I would recommend this app to any boater in Alaska (and elsewhere). Previous 3 star review: My main reason for getting the app is to quickly check wind speed and sea swells so I can plan trips. When I open the app, I’d say about half the time that data is not present and I have to go on the NOAA website. Then, when it is present, and I cross reference it to the NOAA website, about 25% of the time it shows rougher seas than the website. So I’m a bit annoyed. I’m going off the seas for the NOAA website this weekend to see who’s right (hoping the website). 3 stars because: Everything else is accurate and consistently works. Would have 5 stars if it fixed what I stated above.
