A grand mansion … a dastardly murder … a gathering of suspicious characters. Play Hasbro’s beloved board game together with family and friends on the big screen with the local multiplayer mode for Nintendo Switch™ and Steam®! Use the official Companion app as your game controller and personal Clue sheet for local multiplayer games. Take notes, eliminate red herrings and make brilliant deductions. Gather your detectives in the same room and play together, but keep your notes secret. It’s easy to get started. Launch Cluedo: The Classic Mystery Game on Nintendo Switch or Steam®. Select Play with Friends from the main menu and Host a Local Game. Open the Companion app and enter the passcode to join the lobby. You can connect up to 6 smartphones as controllers to play together. Use the Companion app as your personal controller for local multiplayer games. Pick your character, choose from Miss Scarlett, Colonel Mustard, Mrs Peacock, Mr Green, Dr Orchid, Professor Plum, and many more. On your turn roll the dice to move around the mansion and ask questions: “I suggest it was Miss Scarlett, with the Rope, in the Study!” Use the innovative logic-assisted virtual Clue Sheet that allows for advanced note-taking.     Waste of money. So many glitches. Crashed out in the middle of our game because someone had to use the restroom. For a $30 game you’d expect it to work without having to restart. It took us 10 minutes to connect to the local multiplayer game. Clearly they aren’t working on fixing their issues since this game has been out for years now…

    This app was a fun way for connecting and playing with friends and family. It hasn’t recognized a passcode for the game for well over a year. We took a break hoping the dev team would do something to fix it, and nothing has been done.

  • switch game and app not synced

    I have the nitendo switch game and like playing it, i tried to play a local game with my daughters and downloaded this campion app. The app does not sync to the switch game, we do not see any movement of the players or rolling just the cards that we have and the guesses each person makes. This is makes playing with strategy almost impossible. We refreshed multiple times the app and the switch game nothing works to get it to show like the demo videos show it should.

    I’m on an iPhone and I’ve been having so much trouble even loading into the game, once I enter the app I hit play and I couldn’t even make a password, I tried getting the game again and it didn’t work, I wouldn’t recommend at all.

    Very disappointed that this app quit working. Worked fine with Nintendo switch for a long time, but now when playing with friends and trying to host a local game, all we get is “incorrect password”. I see I’m not the only one having this problem. I’m supposed to contact support. What’s your plan? Fix each user one at a time? It’s working now. Ok. New problem I think you need to know about. New Polar Research Station freezes and software stops working.

    I cannot figure out how to log in, where do I find the “ passcode.” I didn’t give the game my Gmail information so does the game send it to me or?

    Works well enough with the switch game. The only problem I’ve run into is that I have to completely close out of the app and relaunch it between each game because typing in a new code and clicking “join” won’t do anything a second time. After relaunching the app it seems to work just fine.
