  • Tips for managing lives

Love, love, love this game. I am over level 2000 and haven’t spent a dime through good life management. Here are my tips: (1) Join an active team. Your team members can gift lives and help win prizes. You can store up to 15 lives (2) Do the contests, which frequently give free play time. When you reach the goal, do not click on the reward immediately. TURN OFF THE GAME! The free play reward will be waiting for you when you return and the clock will start then (3) Save your decorating stars. Don’t progress the home renovations until you are out of lives. You get 30 min free play at the end of Austin’s day, followed by full lives. Starting a new day also refreshes lives, so don’t start the new day until you are tapped out. I hope these tips help you have fun and be successful!
  • Players Just Being Lied To

I will not recommend Homescapes to anyone when I’m asked “what games are you playing these days” because of how the developers of Homescapes purposely mislead potential new players in your advertising. The advertising shows situations with the main game characters that never happen in the game. Two examples are: 1. some sort of escape room puzzle to free a character from some peril 2. A disaster that the player is supposed to chose a method to stop what ever disaster is occurring. Neither of those are part of this game. It is just dishonest to present a game this way and then justify it by saying “some scenes don’t represent actual game play.” If you represent the game with things and situations that aren’t in the game, why not just include those things in the game? It’s obvious that those game mechanics are something that will attract players.
  • APP IS NOTHING LIKE THE ADS

If you downloaded the app like I did because it seemed to be a game about rescuing people (essentially, it appears to be a variation on Where’s My Water), be prepared to be soundly disappointed. This is essentially Candy Crush mixed together with one of those apps that let you design a shopping mall, department store, office building or some other venue like that. For what it is, I suppose it’s *okay*, but none of these games “Homescapes”, “Farmscapes”, etc are anything other than a glorified matching game.
  • Game Advertisement

How come the game is advertised as a “save” the butler? It shows working a puzzle to escape a situation as a dog etc...but it is in actuality another match 3 tile game?
  • Not as advertised

This game is nothing like they make it seem in the ad. I wasn’t expecting a match 3 game. I’m really disappointed. I deleted the app. If you make a game look like something that it’s not it’s fraud.

  • TOO Many levels

My one complaint is that you never get to the advertised storyline in the promo. I’m at level 15, and I’m still not playing the game as advertised! It’s got a reasonable amount of ads, downside is players are often promoted to make purchases and it’s not the game I saw in the promo. I suggest you skip this one. Too frustrating.
