horrible for wifi priniting! Doesnt work form the mac unless i attach tpo printer. Works fine form phone however. I also have ran into issues with documents taking for-ev-er when printing a pdf. Worfd doc flies through like nobodys business. This printer or app is horrible and hard to troubleshoot.
  • No longer recognizes scanner

The app on my mac does not connect to the scanner anymore on my network. I am able to connect to it fine from my iPhone, so the scanner is definitely on the network. Tried reinstalling the app and drivers with no luck.
  • Keeps crashing for no discernible reason

I'm running the latest version (12.1.0), and the app has started to crash in the middle of scans for no apparent reason. Nothing else has changed — same Mac, same Brother scanner (ADS-3600W). The software was already not that great as far as features/functionality (see the average rating), but now it crashes, causing you to have to rescan your last document. This is a huge hassle, especially if your document gets out of order in the output tray, and you have to figure out how to rearrange everything properly once again. I'm getting really sick of this scanner and software...

no es nada práctica cargar papel, ni la coenctividad, solo peudes imprimir a través de la aplicación que solo acepta pdfs y jpg. Eviten esta marca.

First and last brother printer I will ever buy. Horrible. Bought this printer less than two months ago and the app just stopped working. The app will not show the printer online. We (two extremely tech savvy individuals) have tried every!single! troubleshooting measure you can find on the web, to no avail. This is garbage. HORRIBLE!!!
  • Crashes my M4 MBP

This software crashes my new M4 MBP every time and forces to restart the computer completely.
  • App Doesn’t Recognize Scan on Printer

This app does not detect my printer even though I can print from other apps. When you click Machine Scan Settings it tells you to restart but this winds up being an endless loop. Upon restart the app detects the printer/scanner for about 5-10 seconds, if that, then nothing.

The print function works fine but when trying to use this scan program, the program lists my printer as offline.
  • Used to work

Used to work great, now it won’t recognize my machine at all. I can print to it just fine, connection is great, this app just always shows the machine offline, and their support is a joke. An hour hold and they dont know how to fix anything.
  • macOS 15: Slow/broken scanning

As of the newest macOS release, my ADS-1250W is barely usable. Documents go through the scanner fine, but the software is extremely slow and unreliable when it comes to creating the file. This software is really frustrating to use.
