The only problem I had was picking the right model number from the available list in the app. My model is AX3000 Decco X55 so foolish me was looking for “AX3000” when X55 was the actual model number. Anyway I got past that and it only took a few minutes to install 3 nodes including a firmware update. Performance is great so far!

I’m using cp210 bridges and deco x55 to set up multiple wifi zones on my farm. I have more uptime, less maintenance, and handles tons of devices without conflict. Like the title says, new favorite.

5000 sq ft to cover, and the single WiFi access point in the basement next to the fiber drop meant patchy coverage on the top floors and outside decks. I installed a Deco X50-Poe system with three nodes (branded as Deco AX3000) and have five bars almost everywhere. This replaced an Open-mesh network (loved the cloudtrax.com web interface!) that overall I was very pleased with, but was now unsupported, with an end of life in 2021. When we installed fiber I pulled the old nodes and we struggled on with one access point in the basement. This year I redid the Ethernet with all lines coming to a single 24 port switch, reinstalled the Cat 5 ports, set up POE switches on two floors and installed this Delco WiFi wireless access point system behind a Sonicwall TZ400 sourced from eBay for $75. Very quick setup with only a few hiccups from the app. After setup it kept saying that the main node was not installed, but it was coming up on the network as a working WiFi network. Did a complete restart from fiber bridge to the farthest computer and everything came to life. The additional two nodes connected automatically once powered up and connected to the LAN. All I did was rename them! Pretty much all I had to do was configure admin login and name the SSID!
