Really helps those who have no idea about coding to get an idea of what it entails. Clear instructions and fun challenges keep me enticed!
  • This app is a bit misleading- but it's not the developer's fault

Was pretty disappointed when I saw this was locked up behind a pricey paywall, but you have to make money somehow. The IOS store really needs a separate section for trials or demos of payed apps instead of making you check the description or download the app just to see if it's even free. Again, not totally the dev's fault, but they could open up a little more than 1 mini lesson for free, and/or an option to skip the sign in step and just do the demo.

Like the concept, not the fact that everything but the very beginning first part of a course quizzes cost money, yet the quizzes at the beginning are rarely useful because I know everything about that stuff that it talks about in the quiz, clicking “Has some knowledge on programming” doesn’t do anything either, or at least doesn’t do anything noticeable. Seriously 96% of the build a game section I think it was cost premium and teaches you barely anything. Another thing is the fact it asks if your advanced in programming once not warning you that that applies to all quizzes and courses meaning the Swift course was extremely confusing and taught me nothing. Stop being a completely computerized gold digging money stealer. And give the people more free lessons in the subject they would like to participate in. Wait! Before you respond to this bad review one more thing. Premium literally costs nine effing dollars. Who wants to pay 9.99 a month on a practically easily forgotten or soon to be forgotten mobile app for like a K12 cyber school days worth of classes. You are the equivalent to a sad person scamming people to get roblox accounts while using a different chat system on an entirely different platform on the World Wide Web.
  • Not free.

Well designed, looks fun and intuitive, but it’s pretty useless as a free user. Not much you can do. Might as well just be a paid app.
  • No free trial without payment method.

You can’t have a free trial of it without having a card set up. Pretty sick of this setup. All of these companies are just hoping you’ll forget to cancel your subscription so they can auto charge you. There was no point in downloading the app. Only giving two stars because I’m ASSUMING it teaches you SOMETHING if you can spend ten dollars a month on a subscription service.

I’m hooked. I love the way teaches how to code. I find myself opening this app instead of Facebook and Twitter. It is a much more productive use of my time.

It is incredibly difficult to find a free place to learn code when YouTube tutorials don’t cut it. Sadly there are none that I have found that offer a free and efficient place of learning. My suggestion? Take after Duolingo and allow for ads and “life’s” where if you get a question wrong you lose a life then offer the user to pay for more lives watch an ad for a second chance or wait for more lives. Most people who want learn code are teenagers with limited pockets and can not afford to pay for multiple courses for multiple languages.
  • It’s a scam

I tried the app like many people and I would recommend using codeacacadamy because you don’t have to PAY for lessons. In this app you can only do 1 free lesson but in codeacadamy it’s just a 3 hour diagnostic and teaches you the basics and it’s completely free.Join codeacademy and you’ll love it I guarantee.

Love this app because I can learn on the go! Subscription prices is what it is, but it’s definitely worth it.
