  • Text scalability issue

You need to make the app compatible with the enlarge text in accessibility options. Not everyone can read the tiny text display for a rider name, or incoming messages from the rider. Either increase the font size considerably, or make the app compatible with basic accessibility options for text sizes. As drivers we already have enough to concentrate on when driving and navigating the app. If we can’t read important messages from the rider because the text is smaller than the terms and service small print then we may miss our riders. This should’ve been fixed years ago. Latest update made it to where we can’t control the volume of voice navigation. I tried unplugging the cord and plugging back in. Turning app off and restarting phone as well as turning car off waiting 5 minutes and turning everything back on. Y’all just keep messing up the app with every update. And of course you won’t address any of the other driver concerns. It’s all about making money off us.

The distances of the orders I receive from Uber are very far and the fees are very low. No payment is made for canceled or returned orders. I recommend that no one uses this application, which completely exploits people.

Some of the worst customer(employee?) service I’ve ever experienced, if not the worst. The people that help you aren’t trained very well it seems and don’t take the time to read what you write attentively or really listen. The advice isn’t suited to really help you and you often have to explain yourself over and over again. The app has taken me to incorrect addresses many times (and they’re really off the mark- oftentimes not even close by), and then my percentage has dropped for being late which is unfair. I tried signing off with Lyft and I’m ineligible because I’m 24- but they called me to see if I needed any assistance. That’s way more than Uber would do, as I can never get anyone on the phone. Just don’t do it.

The IT team at uber try their best to make the lives of drivers as difficult as possible. Love the dedication, good job.
  • Bugs, poor service

Uber cannot fix simple bugs. Sending 3rd broken links. To update a photo is a disaster. Billion dollar company third world attitude. Drivers paid 20-30 from charges to riders. Total scam.
  • Remove the pin feature

My ratings have gone down drastically sine the pin feature was added. It’s not accurate abd sending drivers to the wrong delivery address. Customers should have to type in correct address so driver won’t be penalized for delivering to wrong address on the pin.

It is very frustrating to use the app while driving in New Jersey because you invest in a vehicle worth $30,000, $25,000, and when it comes to picking up a passenger, it doesn’t provide any information. It doesn’t tell you how much the trip pays or where the passenger is going. This leads drivers to take trips that are not worthwhile, such as picking up a passenger who only pays $3.70 or taking a passenger to New York City, where you have to pay tolls to enter and leave. That’s why I say it is very frustrating to use it in the state of New Jersey.

Do not give them Your info they will steal it!! I’ve never driven with them tried signing up.. sent them all my personal information including social security card and birth certificate I was finally able to sign in but it said BLOCKED!! I called and sent messages numerous times they keep saying I had a previous account and it’s against their rules to have duplicates accounts. I’ve never ever drove or delivered for uber EVER!!! They even made an account with my email that has dupp behind it!!! They stole my info and it’s nothing I can do about it. Use dash it was an easy and painless onboarding process.
