Great app, so easy to save recipes from the web and even share recipes with others but since so many of the recipes I see are on instagram, I wish there was a button to add recipes that way. Some other apps have this now and I’m considering switching to try them.

This app is amazing. I often Pinterest my recipes, the ease of just copying the link and adding it to the app is so easy. Almost always it asks to import the recipe without me having to click an extra button. I purchased the Lifetime Pro plan because my husband and I use it so often. I would love for the app to take a picture of the recipe card and import it, but I know that's fancy technology. We love love love this app. I recommend it to EVERYONE!

I hunted for a good recipe app that did what I needed. One app that widened across all my devices, from my iPhone to my Samsung fridge smart display, that didn’t charge me extra between devices. I wanted something that could scan from books but also websites. I wanted something to help me store recipes from my grandparents. THIS IS IT. It’s everything and more. What I would love to see is a recipe planner using their AI that helps you to share ingredients between recipes, or maybe builds some example plans for you and then you can choose from them. There is so much potential here! Thank you guys for all that you have done here.

I found Cookbook after trying several recipe apps many years ago, and now I use it almost daily and have over 1000 recipes that I treasure. It’s so EASY! When the app is opened first, you simply go to your chosen browser and copy the address of any recipe you find on the Internet, reopen Cookbook and confirm that you want to save it and that’s it! And being able to customize your categories (or tags) is a real plus and it will even find and put the recipe in one or more of the appropriate tags. The lifetime unlimited version was very inexpensive and I found it a great investment in many years of saved treasures, all of which is saved to the Cookbooks’ cloud storage, so you never fear losing your recipes. And very easy to send to friends or other Cookbook users! You will love this App!

I’ve used this app for years. I honestly use this app daily. It makes planning the week’s menu & shopping list easy. I’ve expanded the meal options, and eliminated the dreaded “what’s for lunch or dinner” conversation. It makes sharing recipes simple. I can prep all my ingredients quickly, and never find I’m missing an ingredient while preparing a meal.

It has become a regularly used app for collecting recipes, planning meals, creating shopping lists and then when we are actually cooking. It does a very good job of importing recipes from pictures and websites. We have used the meal planning and shopping lists for about 6 weeks and so far it has worked very well…no forgotten items or the wrong amounts. You can easily adjust the number of servings and it corrects the amount of ingredients needed(this works within the shopping list). The only thing I don’t like is if you adjust the number of servings, it does not make the necessary amount changes in the instructions. For example, if the recipe is for 4 servings and calls for 1 teaspoon of pepper and I want to make 2 servings, the ingredient list will adjust down to 1/2 teaspoon of pepper, but the instructions will still say 1 teaspoon of pepper. While you’re cooking, this requires some extra care to not make mistakes.

I bought this app when it was a one-time lifetime payment. I put a lot of effort and time into adding recipes, and now it’s switched to a subscription plan. I thought that by going free, I could at least view the recipes I had saved in the app as PDFs, but instead, I only have the option to view 40 recipes or delete them. For those of us who were here from the beginning, this is very disappointing. I feel like this app stole my recipes and is now asking me to pay to get them back. For new users, be aware that even if you pay for a subscription, this could change again, and you could lose all the time and money you invested in this app.

I’ve had so many issues with the app between it not being able to upload recipes, not adding items to my grocery list, and NOW I clicked to open it and everything I saved is now gone. It literally said “something really bad happened. Please contact support.” What??? Don’t waste your money on this app

Can’t tell enough people about this app. Way more beautiful, intuitive, and cheaper than any other recipe app out there. I’m shocked it doesn’t have x10-100 more downloads than it currently has. I share family recipes with my Mom, love it!!
