Only working "open terminal here" app I found working for Mojave. Keep in mind you have to run the commands below to get it working in Mojave: mkdir ~/Library/Application\ Scripts/net.langui.NewTerminalHere.ScriptHelper/ cp /Applications/NewTerminalHere.app/Contents/PlugIns/NewTerminalHereExtension.appex/Contents/Applications/ScriptHelper.app/Contents/Resources/ScriptHelper.sh ~/Library/Application\ Scripts/net.langui.NewTerminalHere.ScriptHelper/

For each folder that you might use terminal in, this needs to be activated. There are free ones on app store that implement this system wide and they would not cost you a nickel. Waste of money

'New Terminal Here' is the only app I’ve found that does this dead simple task well and actually looks like it belongs in the Finder while its doing it. Well done!

Does what it needs to do and nothing more. Simple and effective. You really can't ask for much more. This developer has other great apps as well. Worth the 2 bucks, in my opinion.

:To get a terminal in el Capitan, I 've tried the built-in service "New Terminal at Folder" and the free app "termhere". But the service was cumbersome and "termhere" was annoying: on startup it opens a window, which must be closed by hand.. "New Terminal Here" is a well-thought-out tool. You can get a contextual men item for "new terminal" or "new terminal tab" either by control-clicking on a folder *or* within a folder window. One small irritant , unnnecessary in my mind, was the requirement to set the top level folde where the the contextual menu item would appear. I specified the root hard drive. This should be tghe default; it's hard to imagine that anyone who uses Terminal would make any other choice. You are also asked to enable the New Terminal Here extension in System Preferences.. Thie warning to do so unfortunately doesn't disappear after you have enabled the extension. , These are very minor irritants that don't affect function. Thank you, Langui!!

Works like a charm. No more popping a terminal open typing cd and dragging the icon in.
  • it doesn’t support other terminal applications

I use iTerm2. There’s no preference setting that I could use iTerm2 as a default terminal application. Please add this feature to make this app worth $1.99 to me.
