Reddit has over 100,000 online communities (forums where members post and comment) dedicated to specific topics. Some of the most popular communities are: • r/AskReddit, where users can ask and answer questions • r/funny, which is full of humorous content • r/science, for scientific discussions and news • r/gifs, with funny animated gifs for your viewing pleasure On Reddit you’ll find: • Thousands of community groups Breaking news, social media trends, sports highlights, TV fan theories, open AI discussions and personalized content, there's a community for everyone. • Loads of laughs Find memes, oddly satisfying videos, funny cat videos, and more to help you lose track of time. • AMAs, or "Ask Me Anything" Celebrities, politicians, and experts answer questions from users. • The best discussions on any topic Reddit’s discussion threads are where community members jump in with humor and insights for just about anything; pop culture, sports, entertainment, or financial advice. • Get answers to anonymous questions Ask communities anything you want. Ask questions on relationships, mental health, parenting, career help, fitness plans, and more. • Anonymous profiles so you can do YOU Connect with people about any topic, join interactive community groups or threads, and chat with other redditors, all anonymously. Voting and Karma: Instead of likes and hearts, Reddit’s social network runs on upvotes or downvotes. Voting on posts and comments increase or decrease the creator’s karma, and helps popular and relevant posts rise to the top, while filtering out low-quality or irrelevant posts. While karma doesn't directly impact your ability to use Reddit, more karma can increase posts’ visibility and help you get noticed. Some communities require karma to post or comment, which helps prevent spam or low-quality content. The app is good for building pseudo communities and finding solutions to problems and discussing topics safely without spoilers. The ads are not too invasive either . However, there are too many lewds forget the NSFW content although it is blurred by default, it can lead to regrettable temptations for some. All in all, Reddit is a great platform for adults but not for children and people too callow.

That’s how this liberal app works. In the best fascist fashion, the censorship trigger is pulled when you least expect it. It’s sufficient the opinion you express is not aligned to their beloved woke agenda and BOOOM, downvotes and ban magically appear for you. Some people use the term “cesspool” to describe Reddit, but let’s be honest, at least cesspools serve useful purposes.

Man do I want to enjoy this app more but we need some new stuff going on. First would love to have the ability to have a a to z quick section to go through all the subreddits. Next It would be nice if you could move the profile icon to the bottom and replace it chats. With that being able to hold down on the profile icon to switch through profiles quicker. The ads are ridiculous on this app, some are so big and their worst are the ones in the comments. Would be nice to see this app get improved instead of just staying stale with not much improvements being made

I hate you reddit 4 ever!
  • Used to love Reddit until it became an unhinged, extremist, hate factory

Reddit promotes r/politics, the hysterical echo chamber filled with hateful, unhinged rhetoric but “quarantined” nearly every subreddit promoting any ideological perspectives to the right of Josef Stalin. The people running this site are clearly far-left techno-fascists. Update: It’s late 2024 and Reddit has somehow become even more hysterical and unhinged. No matter what subs I follow, its algorithm continues to flood my feed with far-left propaganda and conspiracy theories. Reddit is truly the lunatic fringe. Totally abandoning this platform for Quora.

Overall a solid app, mods have too much power, and are very petty when you call them out on their nonsense. Propaganda is prevalent in some of these subreddits which is unfortunately destroying the minds of people.

I’ve been on Reddit on and off for about five years now on three different accounts since I’ve lost emails to two. It’s rather easy to use. I haven’t had any weird bugs luckily, and it works well even on cellular or WiFi. The UI is great, but the ads are really large and sometimes just take up the whole screen which is a real eyesore, even on the PC version. One issue I’ve noticed is that when typing on mobile, the app lags HARD. After around 200 characters it starts lagging and occasionally I’ll type and it’ll take 3+ seconds to even register on my phone. I’m not sure if that’s just an issue with iPhone 13 and below, but that’s what I’ve noticed. Otherwise, it’s a great app and good for self expression.
  • Now practically useless

With the latest removal of filtering subreddits from all/popular, this garbage app which constantly crashes is pretty much useless. It also violates a lot of Accessibility/a11y practices like ignoring Reduce Motion settings. With every update, the process of ensh——ification gets more and more intense.

Locks up and crashes phone. Have to hard reset, and being able to do that is amazingly difficult as the whole device becomes a jumble of delayed responses. Memory gets consumed and device freaks out and freezes every function. What did you do? Just because Zuck quits facts doesn’t mean Reddit has to quit functionality. Jeez!
