    Ordered food for pickup on the evening of July 4th. Unbeknownst to us the store was closing early for the holiday but was mismarked in the app as “open” so the order went through. Went to the store in person less than 10 minutes later to pick up the food and it was closed. Uber refuses to give a refund claiming that the store was open. We have not received any refund back at all; in fact, they tried to charge us a cancellation fee. Unbelievably idiotic customer service and literal theft of our money. We are claiming this as fraud on our credit card.

    I refunded a order after finding hair in my food. They claimed they couldn’t find a photo to help with the refund but I had already received the refund and you can’t submit one Withought a photo in the first place. So I explained how there policy didn’t make any sense because there should be a photo because refunded can’t be given Withought it. How could they not have the resources? They gave me the refund Withought the tip.(so obviously the driver got her tip because she did nothing wrong). However, they ended up charging me the tip again taking it out of my account. I’m a high schooler who makes minimum wage. I really don’t understand how they couldn’t have given me the money they charged me back by looking at my bank statements and the email. I don’t think I’ll use this app again because if this happens with a larger order or larger tip, I don’t want to wager hours of my life on this company’s mistakes.

    Highly disappointed with new updated app. It’s made requesting HELP MUCH HARDER. It’s like navigating through a maze! I’ve been using uber eats for a while and always satisfied overall, but now if an item is bad or never sent I’m left out of luck! Also, the app for certain restaurants DON’T REFLECT EVERYTHING they have to offer. The newer items and bigger choices are non-existent. The only good consistent thing of their app is their map is very accurate for the driver’s. Door Dash can’t beat that. However, lately Uber Eats CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BAD, so it seems Door Dash will have to be my first choice (it also has more restaurant and updated menus) from now on. Too bad Uber Eats doesn’t seem to care anymore about their customers.

    Probably the worst delivery app in the UK. Hidden prices and fees, upcharges items in restaurants. You can even talk to a customer help line, first its an AI Bot, then it says it’ll connect you to one but It’s just another AI or a human with half a brain cell. Order is 3 hours late and they’ll cancel it but still charge me

    Uber Eats seriously needs to get it together. I placed an order expecting normal delivery times, and instead they assigned it to someone on a moped who was over 50 minutes away. That’s not just inconvenient — it ruins the entire order. Cold food, wasted time, and zero logic behind assigning a far-away driver using a slow vehicle for what’s supposed to be a fast delivery. And to make things worse, when I reached out, they tried to blame the restaurant for it. Really? The restaurant did their part — it’s Uber that matched the wrong driver for the job. I don’t care how many discounts or generic replies they send, this is just poor service and bad planning. If you want to be a reliable food delivery platform, stop playing games with people’s time and money. This is the kind of nonsense that makes people delete the app.

    Noticed, an issue with one of the Restaurant and tried to take help from support team. Support team is so careless that they won’t read anything and ask details again and then close ticket saying no Issue!!!
