I use it every day. Great app. Very accurate.

I like having the hourly weather projection continuously displayed on my watch as is done by the resident Apple app. The resident Apple weather app has problems displaying the correct temperature and forecast on the watch and other devices. I have tried a number of third party apps before I tried this one. Forecast Bar is priced very reasonably with a very low yearly rate. It is very surprising in its custom options, depth of information, and performance (so far). I started with the silver version of this three weeks ago and am pleased enough with it that I just upgraded to the gold version. I hope the developers can keep up the good work at the current price point.

Love Forecast Bar, when it works. Today it went "silent" on my iPhone, saying I need to upgrade to Pro plan, which I already have. But the widget looks great on my iPad Pro (iOS18) Home Page, giving me trustworthy, detailed weather info at a glance.

I always go to this one first. Best written interface, get forecast quick, easy on the eyes, and current conditions. I have several weather apps, this if my go. Highly recommend it!
  • Ok but watch faces don’t workout

I love the desktop app for Mac. And this app on iPhone is ok. But the appearance on the iPhone is vastly different than desktop. The desktop app is sleek and well ordered. The iPhone app is less appealing. The watch faces don’t download. Disappointing
  • Forever to Update Location & No Response from Support

When getting off a flight, this app takes forever to update location. I don’t understand it. It has full access to precise location services. This is after force quitting and reopening the app. It take about an HOUR. The widget is even worse. Once the app finally updates, the widget still shows the old location, probably for ANOTHER HOUR. Even worse, despite numerous emails to support with screenshots, I’ve yet to receive a response. The only reason this is 2 stars not 1 is that their rain data is highly accurate in Mexico, whereas Apple’s app is a literal joke.

I am a weather geek. I have weather stations at home and remote locations. I have ten weather apps loaded on my idevices for your basic weather and specifically for tropical storms and hurricanes. I have taken classes in meteorology though I am not a professional. It took me a while to stumble across this app but for me, this app easily eclipses all the others for breadth of information displayed and for the presentation of the information. The other apps I have loaded have their strong points but for comprehensive information and its display, this one is easily the best for my particular tastes.
  • Still Disappointed

I have discovered that if you refresh the app each and every time you open it - you get relatively accurate data. But clearly you should not have to refresh every time you use the app. None of the other weather apps I’ve tried require it. Just to clarify, i do have the app set to update in the background - it just doesn’t do it. As previously stated, the graphics are great. If the developer would fix the lack of background updating and sync the temp displays between the watch app and the phone, it would be well worth the price. As is, not so much.
