...but a nit from an old QA engineer. When looking at the map on a Stats page, and clicking on a country, it takes you to a list for the country, and if you click the Back arrow in the top left, it takes you back to the Year Selection page, not the map on the Stats page.

  • ADDING FRIENDS???

this app is great, except for the adding friends functionality, which in itself is a bit of an oxymoron. Trying to add a friend on Letterboxd is a humbling experience because it makes me realize that no matter how native you are to tech, you will have a challenging time trying to search for/add a friend. Please fix this. Please.

The app is cool. The floating ad over the entire lower half of the screen is not cool
  • Love it, new feature idea

So, I love this app so much, it’s so much better than Likewise. I just have an idea for a new feature. I used Likewise for everything but I mainly watch horror so that’s what my account here is. Likewise is extremely buggy lately and it would be cool if this app had a feature like social media accounts do where users could make multiple accounts that would be linked to their current account so they could easily switch between them when needed, could come with a limit of two or three accounts or something like that. Personally, I would only need one more so I could put everything non-horror on that one then I could drop Likewise altogether.
  • Love it ( but I have a request )

okay I love letterboxd, letterboxd is one of my favorite apps. I literally use it everyday. I’m on it 24/7 it’s generally one of the best things ever. I don’t have any complaints. I just have a request. it’s a simple one. I don’t know if this is a patron thing or not, but it would be nice if there was a translate thing for other peoples reviews. There’s times where I like to watch movies that are in a different language you know like French, Spanish and Turkish. and while scrolling through the reviews, there are some English ones, but there are reviews in that language that the movie is set in. And I would like to read those too, to know people whose actual language is in the movie opinion on it. And I don’t know Spanish, French and Turkish, but it would be nice to be able to have a translate thing to be able to read those reviews. Just a simple simple request that it once again I don’t know if it’s a patron thing so, if it is the never mind but if it isn’t please add it!!

I love this app but man it’s servers are down at least once if not twice a month. The comment section is pretty bad and it’s not a great way to communicate on the app. Should be able to discuss film more easily on the app, I bet they’re working on other stuff but this should be a priority imo.
