app won’t even open today so i deleted it and im trying to download it again

I never thought I’d try so hard to write reviews of movies that get 2 likes from random people (my friends don’t even like them)

Between disappearing ratings/logs, losing your review while you’re writing it, the horrible search parsing, and crashes I think it’s better to just access the excellent letterboxd service through their website rather than the app.

newest update erased ALL of my data :( everything is gone, my profile is blank and i tried re-installing, signing out, etc. so sad i won't be using it now.. i had so much...

This app is really helpful. I watch so many movies that I need help keeping track of them all. Could you please tell me the date I started using this app? I can’t find it on my profile. Thanks!

One of the rare apps that puts control into the users hands. No endless scroll, tons of options to filter, good list systems and a great community focus. Please don’t follow the trend that other companies have set (TikTok feature, unnecessary video feed, etc), you have such a good product as it is. Be the best at your niche :-)

Used to love this app but the ads are really out of hand. Pop up videos that you can’t dismiss? Ridiculous. I’m fine with the banners and such but pop up ads covering the screen is whack. EDIT: June 2025, these ads are still a mess, please fix

i love letterboxd so much it makes me so happy. has gotten me into film and media more and i really love seeing the progression of the types of movies i gravitate towards. only thing is i wish you could delete tags completely without having to go and manually delete them from each diary entry.

I really wish that they would have a quick section, like at the bottom where you could swipe though movies quickly, when I first downloaded the app it was there but that was the only time I ever found it, it’s very inconvenient to rate and add movies to watchlist unless you search it specifically

I love the app, no complaints. I think you guys should add a random movie selector. Like it would either select a movie out of your watchlist, or just a random movie. I think that’d be a nice addition.
