IMPORTANT INFORMATION The MindDoc App is a risk class I medical product according to Annex VIII, Rule 11 of the MDR (REGULATION (EU) 2017/745 on medical devices) Intended Medical Purpose: The MindDoc monitoring and self-management application medical device provides continuous long-term sign and symptom monitoring of common mental disorders. This protocol is supplemented by courses and exercises. This enables users to recognize patterns in their symptom trajectories which then can be shared with a mental health care provider and used for self-management. MindDoc thus provides users orientation regarding the need to consult a mental health care provider by providing an assessment of the general emotional health. A mental health care provider then can include the summary of the protocols in his overall diagnostic and clinical assessment. enables users to self-manage symptoms and related problems by providing both transdiagnostic and disorder-specific evidence-based courses and exercises which help them to recognize, understand, and cope with signs and symptoms of mental disorders by self-initiating behavior change. The application explicitly does not replace the diagnosis by a mental health care provider, but can only give orientation on whether to consult a mental health care provider who then can include the results of the medical device in diagnostic processes. The application explicitly does not replace psychotherapy. Please read the regulatory information (e.g., warnings) and instruction for use as provided on our medical device site: https://minddoc.com/medizinprodukt You can find more information about our terms of use here: https://minddoc.com/app-agb Here you can learn more about our privacy policy: https://minddoc.com/datenschutz The monthly and annual MindDoc Plus subscription renews automatically unless turned off in Account Settings at least 24h before the current period ends. I tried to sign up a few times. It never sent the confirmation link. Worthless
  • Sad this app is not accessible

I was using this app for years and loved it, however I could never afford to pay a subscription. As many people with mental health challenges like a mental illness live on disability income, social security. We cannot afford these prices therefore it is not accessible. There must be some way to get insurance companies to pay for it because it’s very useful. Really sad because I stopped using it once they started charging for the features. And it would be very helpful to include more bipolar disorder diagnostics and features. Even though the depression aspects are quite spot on. Ty for your efforts!

Very pertinent questions. Lot’s to look into and lots of info to contemplate.
  • Not transparent!

Takes you all the way through the introductory process and asks for personal information, then a pop up offers a subscription with options. There is no free option apart from discovering that you’re tied into a seven day trial. There should be an indicator under the “get button” in the App Store to show this app ultimately will ask you for money. (IMO) It may well be that this app is very worthwhile and value for money, but why the lack of transparency??? Annoying!!! Deleted it immediately!
  • Was hopeful, but not much to evaluate in trial mode

I’m not going to sign up for a subscription unless I can see a benefit. I downloaded hoping for a decent trial, but after 14 days I don’t see an assessment like it said, most reading it recommends is locked. Mood keywords are limited and can’t add others. Not a lot of guidance on using the app. Only benefit are reminders and questions that make me think about how I’m feeling, which is good, but not really insightful.

Helpful but emotion choices are too limited and three-times daily questions often do not happen because the app doesn’t update.
  • Money grab :/

I love this app. I’ve been using it since 2018. I haven’t agreed with some of the updates within the past few years, but it still serves it’s purpose really well and helps me to gauge how i’m actually doing. But now we have to pay to get our results, results i’ve been getting for free for nearly 5 years? I’m going to try to find another app. I’m so disappointed, because I loved minddoc, but there’s no point for me if i don't get the biweekly reports, and i can’t afford the subscription. Really sad to see this happening :/
  • Been Using for 6 Years - Almost Useless now

I love this app. I’ve been putting entries in for six years now. Getting regular feedback was so helpful and motivating. Now we have to pay for the same service that has previously been offered for free? Not rocking with that. I will still use it to log my feelings and write about my day, but the main purpose of the app - feedback - is now behind a paywall. Upsetting for sure.
  • Missing some key emotions

I like this app a lot, but when choosing the emotions I’m feeling, it doesn’t include a few I expected (and often feel). Depressed, angry, anxious, stressed, excited, and most of all… overwhelmed. I know depressed/anxious/stressed encompass several of the emotions already listed, but sometimes those feelings are bigger than words can describe.
