Description

Log and track your gun range training! Useful range tools and drills! Save & email your gun & ammo list, license list, and range logs! Improve your target shooting at the gun range using the firearm drills while tracking range & gun usage. This app has the tools you need to safely & efficiently train and practice your firearm technique, all in one place. Carrying a firearm or keeping one at home for family protection is a great responsibility. Whether you have a CCW license, live in a Constitutional Carry State, or just keep one at home to protect your family’s residence, it is incumbent upon you to frequently train and be familiar with your firearm(s). It makes sense to track your range usage, not only for your own knowledge, but as evidence if ever involved in a self-defense scenario. It is also helpful for an easy one-stop-location to track your firearms (including cost, serial #, and date of purchase) and your Conceal Carry licenses. You can match up your firearm to the range sessions, and track the number of rounds fired. You also can set up early warnings for when your CCW license(s) are about to expire or have expired. Dashboard – Quick statistics about your Range Trips, Licenses, and Firearms. Shot Timer – Log your shots fired from buzzer to last shot. Can set a delay for solo practice. Can also be set to time shots in dry fire practice. Buzzer – Can set to a random delay for solo practice and dry fire practice. Random Target Buzzer - Fully configurable. Can be set to call out random targets at random intervals for Figure 8 and other drills that need an element of surprise. Range Log – Track your range sessions, including firearm used, rounds fired, location, date, time spent, and more. Save the address, GPS and picture of the range. Firearm Log – Track your firearm purchases, serial #, date purchased, price paid, rounds fired, and pictures. Keep this useful data in one place if the firearms are ever lost or stolen. License Log – Track your CCW (Conceal Carry) Licenses, date acquired, date expiring, license number, picture, and other notes. Provides warning on homepage of licenses that are near expiration and ones that have expired. Ammo Log - Track your ammo purchases and use. Dry Fire Drills – Instructions and information on various dry-fire drills (including random drill selector). Live Fire Drills – Detailed instructions, tips, and pictures of several popular target drills. Includes random drill selector if you want to rotate your drills of the day. Gun Safety - Basic tips to remember from trusted organizations. Security – App can be locked to your password or your fingerprint Backup & Import - Ability to Import / Export data across devices, backup old data, and email data to yourself or other apps. This app includes future updates (with more tools, drills, and exciting features) for free. No subscription fee or ongoing charge. Now includes Auto feature to manage your ammo inventory when you log your range trips. Know how many rounds you have available of each caliber at a glance. Disclaimer: Gun safety is a paramount concern for any shooter. Only use a firearm if you are an experienced shooter, or under the direct supervision of an experienced shooter. I simply want to say THANK YOU. Your CCW, Posted! & GunVault apps are the best, and hugely useful‼️ Honestly I don’t know how you manage the constant data-pull it must take to stay current with the constant changes state-by-state. The level of detail provided is really impressive. Big kudos to all of you.
  • Not happy as it’s locked

Just spent an hour inputting list and its locked up in a weird way. Cycling thru the password screen then disappears!

Spend the $3 on cheap paper targets, least you will get something out of it! This is a hacked together information that the beginner should already know before touching a firearm! Got few drills, and a place to store all your firearm serial number data, and that’s it!!!!! Disappointed!
  • Poorly designed, not very useful

The app has promise, in theory (hence the two stars instead of one), but looks and feels like a homemade website from the 1990's your teenage nephew made complete with the weird bitmap icons, gaudy color schemes, funky buttons, and awkward multi-color text - i.e. not a professional app. Because of this I have my doubts about the code that underlies this and wouldn't trust it to save my critical data (see all the reviews about user data being deleted without notice with no backup option being available if you don't believe me). Very clunky, not many features, and has limited useful information. Everything is so manual, too, when entering information. Not a design, layout or feature set you'd expect to find in a modern app - and by modern I mean anytime in the 21st century. The features could be duplicated by a free notepad app or the builtin iOS apps for the most part, and those would be softer on the eyes and easier to use. Would expect this type of stuff from a free app but not one you pay for. Uninstalled after about fifteen minutes of use.
  • Doesn’t (yet?) do everything promised

Things that comments say it will do, that it doesn’t: Import data won’t accept the file you exported, in spite of the how-to info. Can’t use the Dashboard, not any of the items. Can only access via the menu at the top corner. Issues: notes section on license section doesn’t properly accept non-alpha characters. Looks okay until you display it, then the junk shows up. Suggestions: I have a 2 person shooting household. It would be nice to be able to visually distinguish which permit belongs to whom, and which gun belongs to whom - visible at the top level.

Entered my first firearm and when I tried to take a pic the app just shut down. Not happy. Feel like I wasted money. Update. Installed on iPad as well and does same thing. Unable to take pictures.

2.0.3 Thank you for the update. Getting better all the time. 7/7/17 - I'm updating my review because the "rounds fired" problem was operator error - in other words, my fault. Also the developer was quick to respond, answered all my questions and was very helpful. 7/6/17 - I'm giving it 3 stars for now, but hope to change it to 5 after next update. 1) The "rounds fired" button isn't working. 2) Would like to see a maintenance log added. 3) Would also like it to sync between devices. So when I enter data at the range on my phone, it will sync to my iPad.
  • Love the app but update wiped all all my data

That app I give 5 stars but you could of sent out some sort of notice about update or gave us the option to decline update. It took a long time to get all my inventory and range time up to date and now it's all gone 😡
