The unit constantly disconnects from wifi. Out of 26 WiFi connections on my router this is the only one that has problems.

The La Cross weather stations are a complete farce., and waste of money. Numerous items over many years not useful. The App is extremely difficult to connect to the internet, then only for a brief period. The rain gage (numerous items) works for a brief period then quits (not a battery problem, new batteries don’t work). I finally replaced the rain gage with an American made independent device, which does work.

Great to know what is going on at my second home in Florida. Rain scale for an hour is out of line... who gets 5 inches in an hour

This app is really poor. It is not intuitive to use. I bought a clock that would supposedly get information once it was connected to the app and to WiFi. Using the app to connect to WiFi was terrible and didn’t work correctly. Was able to use clocks WiFi signal to go to a 192.168.4.1 page and set WiFi manually. Clock now connects to WiFi but not the app. Just a horrible terrible design.
  • Update fail

The latest update deleted my personal pictures from the app… pics I had taken specifically for the app, pictures that were special to me for sentimental reasons. Now I have pics of the equipment and the suggestion that I can put my own pics. Been there done that and you deleted them. Not cool, Lacrosse! Also feeling recent pressure to “subscribe” to get additional info and my unit hasn’t been accurate as of late. Feel like it’s all a ploy to buy a new unit… my next unit will probably be someone else’s for this very reason.
  • Poor customer service

I’m very unhappy with my latest La Crosse purchase. My weather station is not sending information to their server during initial setup. I’ve called customer service 3 times today, 9:41am, 1:45mpm, and 3:05pm. I tried to use their AI bot, it was worthless.

Refuses to connect to Wi-Fi. Consistent message that sign on is unsuccessful…
  • Another piece of JUNK

Bad enough you need an app to use an indoor outdoor clock. But it gets better, after having to start all over 5 times when trying to add a device it went in the trash can.
